Biden didn't enact a criminal conspiracy to overturn an election, commit felonies, or incite an attack on our Capitol ...... ... and compel his political party to repeat his lies. So, again; You are wrong. They don't all do the same things. They're not all the same. It's not "both sides." Some would say your repeated assertion otherwise is also dishonest.

When he lies why would you excuse or defend him? Certainly you read the posts calling out Biden's stories that were at the least... embellished. I winced when he did it, but didn't excuse it since as Pres. we deserve better.

I think there was a time when Trump lied intentionally like all politicians do to protect himself, but now he actually believes those lies to be true. A condition known as pseudologia fantastica. He’s not lying to prevent an uncomfortable consequence of his actions, but because it gives him warm fuzzies inside. Examples are the falsification of business records about a hush money payoff to Stormy Daniels, illegally possessing classified documents after leaving the White House and concealing them from investigators, to his attempts at reverse his election loss to Biden in Georgia. How that affects us is he’s easily being manipulated. So IMHO Trump isn’t as much of a problem as those who surround him, and influence him are.

Trump wants so bad to be liked and admired. Ironically his appeal might have been tied to the constant barrage of attacks. Now that he isn't getting that, he's making stupid statements to make headlines and to get noticed. It's going to get worse after next year (midterms) as he enters lame duck status.
