Yeah, well, you tipped in late on a discussion that closed days ago. Got him all riled up again, which was never my intent in the first place. You’ll forgive me if I was flippant, unwilling to respond with clarifications I had already given upthread.

 

Hey man it’s all good. I’m just suggesting it’s in all our best interests to stand firmly behind the man running the show (and his staff) and stop with all this “if he doesn’t do this” and “if he loses 7 games…” BS. It’s pretty clear at this point how little talent we had when Napier walked in.

And, again, I was only making a prediction what the real decision makers, the big donors, would do in the event of two more seasons like the last. I wasn’t calling for his head personally. You think the Gator Nation has the patience to give Napier a fourth or fifth season even if he shows no progress in terms of wins over the next two seasons. That’s a fine opinion to have. I simply don’t share it. I think he needs to show some progress immediately or the seat will get too hot by Year 3. That isn’t what I want to happen. It’s just what I think will happen in the event of another season like the last.

Why are you speculating over “if he shows no progress in terms of wins over the next two seasons”? That’s the shit that is 100% absolutely unnecessary and it serves no purpose except to stir up negative perceptions of our coach

 

Dress down the guy who started the thread then. The topic was whether CBN is one of the coaches with the most to prove this year. I opined yes and stated my reasons. You don’t have to agree or like them. You and I both want to CBN to succeed and get this program where it belongs. We disagree on how long he realistically has to do that. Let’s leave it there.
