Arkansas has been to the last two Elite 8s.
Musselman understood how to recruit within the new landscape and now thrives on the transfer portal.
He upgrades his team every here. He does get most of his transfers from Power Five teams. He springles in good high school recruiting.
Looks like this is Golden's strategy but will have to rely on mid major transfers until he has tournament and conference success.
    Glad he's adapting.

Golden lived on transfers at SF, so that part doesn’t surprise me, especially when you are turning over a program. But my hunch is he wants more multi-year stability: build on HS recruits who are ready to play immediately (and thus less likely to transfer) and transfers with 2+ years of eligibility, sprinkle in senior/grad transfers to fill holes/complement strengths.
