The call was obvious. Anyone who has watched this team knew the call to make...Option left reverse right and throw to tight end on roll back or run it in. This teams runs the play well and Lagway would get in one way or the other.

Agree. If we went for 2 and failed everyone would be out of their minds questioning that decision with a fresh QB on the road in hostile environment.

The 4th down sweep and the ST debacle to end the half were the more egregious mistakes IMO.

“What, I thought we would save our two point play for when we had to use it at the end of the second overtime”.

Don't know anyone who would have been nearly as unhappy had we tried and failed on the two point attempt. That, at least, would've looked like you wanted to win. To win on the road in OT with a hostile crowd of over 100k should be the last option.

Every team I know of has a two point play they practice. Are we only team not to have one. What did Napier say about this in the post game presser?

The point is we’d win more games with an interim coach than with Napier. I’d rather have a better chance at beating UGA, LSU and FSU. And clearly we don’t want Napier to luck into some wins so we keep him. There is no downside of firing him.

He's not going to luck into nearly enough wins to keep his job. That ship sailed with the blown opportunities in the first half.

People keep complaining about Napier's play calling and his lack of an OC. They must not have heard him when he said that who calls plays is "overrated."

Kentucky and FSU should be wins even if Napier self sabotages. Then just sneaking one more win gets him to 6. This board will have plenty of people rooting for him to stay at 6

I don't agree that we will win more games with an interim. Perhaps, but probably not.

I don't think so. Six wins just gets us pretty much what we've been getting. All six wins proves is that maybe we suck less, but we still suck. And he's why. Billy is a challenged Ron Zook without the recruiting skills and less personality. .
