At least China is doing well in terms of EVs.

 

I’m not even talking about wind or solar or even any current form energy we now utilize. It’ll likely be something we haven’t even contemplated yet. If we make it 100 years there will be massive breakthroughs & discoveries on par with the advent of electricity, nuclear, solar and hydroelectric power discoveries made in the last few centuries. Once we reach the singularity (likely within the next 30 years) AI intelligence will surpass that of humans and unfathomable advancements will be made.

 

Not to mention that China is producing so much new solar. And as the rest of the world develops it’s going to be the cheapest easiest stuff, which is today solar

 

And then Skynet decides the best solution is that there are too many humans and culls the population….

I am more concerned with what totalitarian governments at the moment but I do wonder if ai is the end goal of evolution.

 

Would be cool to see that downsized by DIYers so that when we replace the batteries in our car, we can just take them inside and plug them into the solar array on the roof to power the house overnight.

 

Can you give an example of what Totalitarian governments worry you? Just so I know what you’re worried about?

 

Well Russia and China worry me and we did have the know nothings just try to over throw our democracy. Trump would have happily have ended democracy if it meant him president for life.
