    Correct. Which is why I pointed out that when you bet with the advice of Robert Barnes you are investing. not gambling

    ETFs can have a tax advantage vs mutual fund in a taxable account (not 401k/ira/roth). There are provisions that enable ETF managers to swap out securities for others without selling them and recognizing capital gains.
