I have read many times from posters here that the administration needs to do more to win, including accepting cheaters, pushing the envelope, etc. I believe you have used the line "everybody cheats" so I guess integrity is a flexible thing in your world.
As I've said a couple of times here, I get why some don't like him, but I think the guy has matured a great deal and can coach and I don't assume to know what any coach/celeb is like in real life. Often the public image is a fake.

 

I make sure people that lack integrity stay as far away from me as possible.

 

Cheating as in paying nil for players to play football I have no problem with. Cheating on your wife however I do. If you think the two are comparable, that’s you not me.

 

Funny how little fans know about their team’s history.
My son and I were walking out of the Gator Bowl after SOS had laid one on UGA.

A group of drunk, whipped puppies called us over to their tailgate & said, “You can’t possibly like that SOB Spurrier the way he runs the score up?!”

I said,”Au Contrere my canine friend! You, whose teams beat IF 75-0 in 1942 with a bunch of draft dodgers, 51-0 in 1968, & 44-0 in 1982 want to talk about running up the score?’”

They all stood there silently, mouths agape. I dropped the Mike & strode off!

 

Bingo. These holier-than-thou types tend to have exceptions they are ok with. Whatever their opinions are is right. Everything else is wrong.

Absolutely. This is why there are rules and laws in place. So that one idiots moral judgement doesn’t rule over others who may not have the same ideologies as him.

 

Never said cheating on ur spouse was ok,. It's not.
However,. Id be very careful to use that as a disqualifier tho since u have no idea who the cheaters are and who aren't. . Some just do a better job of covering it.

Sounds like you are cool with hypocrisy like academic fraud, historically buying players, lying to parents about family/religious values, etc etc, but that is cheating to me. A cheat is a cheat in iny book, perhaps not in yours.

The whole "integrity line" when discussing college football coaches has become rather humorous anyway. Some guys just have better PR. Most fans think their coach is a guy of integrity and everybody else is a cheat of some kind.
