I’ve seen all the interviews with there players and pearl and their answers were all passive I didn’t here “ oh we need pay back “ or “ we’re going to take it to them “ it was ya there a tough team, there tall …… vegas thinks it too having be a 2-1/2 point favorite over the number 1 overall seed. I just didn’t hear any aggressive voices from there team. Just sayin

I look at that as a Team that has pay-back on their mind, and they are internalizing it. That, IMO, is more intense than the guys who openly talk of pay-back.

Yeah - I think fans like to think teams think that way, but in reality - there isn't a player on either team that doesn't believe, truly believe that their team will win. Particularly when you get to this level.

This is a straight up toss-up game. I'd guess the only reason we're a slight betting favorite is due to the Broome uncertainty.

The team that executes better wins. Period.

I would actually want my team talking this way. And believing it. Respect is good and should not be confused with fear.

We all know broome is playing so I think handy gets more playing time to help cover more on him being that he is 7’1”

They have season long pressure to advance. And desire for payback.

We have pressure to show the previous win was for real and to match it.

The loosest, toughest and most confident team will win. Hope it's us.

Broom is not going to be 100% and will only practice 2 days this week. We did OK on him when he was healthy, just need to keep the rest of the team from beating us.

You meant "Sweep the Broome". #dadjoke

BTW, the guys is a warrior and a gamer. I hope nothing happens to him as result of him playing. Just couldn't pass up the opening.

Nice. And I agree on Broome. He’s a competitor.

PS For Father’s Day this year, my kids got me a T shirt that says, “I keep all my jokes in a dad-a-base”. I guess that’s my level of humor now.

I say attack broom early on the offensive side, let’s see how banged up he is. Even with defending him, nothing easy, maybe a hard foul. Nothing dirty, but if he’s not 100% go right at him.

I expect Broome to play well Saturday and I expect both teams to be locked in.

I think this game is gonna come down to rebounding and who can fight through ball screens and make life difficult on the opposing shooters. Both teams have backcourts that are older, bigger with 2 dynamic bucket getters (Clayton, Pettiford).

It's a toss up and should be a great game.

There's no more hoping for an easy draw or hoping for some angle that makes the gators play leagues above. All four final 4 teams are not only elite, but historic on a ratings scale. If the gators are going to the national championship, they're gonna have to straight up knock out a heavyweight peer. That's all.

I thought Broome may have hyper-extended his knee, the way he came down on it in the MichSt game. Did he aggravate the elbow injury on the same play?

Totally agree pound him on the inside with hard legit fouls. Broome and Clayton are the straw that stirs the drink for both teams so stop the head of the snake in broome

It’s king of interesting, to me, that the talk is how good the game will be, and how talented each team is and can be. There’s not the typical hate-enraged trash talk that fuels the SEC.

    My thoughts on this....

    1. Auburn and Florida are rivals, but, at least in my 47 years on this planet, are not hate filled rivals like AU is with UGA and bammer.

    2. The opposing coaches love each other like Family. Steven Pearl is literal best friends with Todd Golden and Bruce gave Todd his first D1 job, in addition to coaching both Todd and his son Steven on a Jewish National team. It's very much a loving relationship between them.

    3. Auburn won the regular season championship. Florida won the SEC Tournament championship. Both teams are widely regarded as the top 2 teams in the conference and have been for the majority of the year and both have been dominant at various times throughout the season.

Both teams know how good their opponent is. There is a reason that the betting odds have this game as essentially a 50/50 coin flip.

Yes. Left ankle roll, maybe knee a bit too:

    Then elbow hyper-extension:

My concern with Auburn is the psychological dynamic of them wanting payback for running all over them in their house..

I think Pearl will have his team come out and try to get physical and rattle us.

We are a better team otherwise in my opinion, but anything can happen so..

I think it comes down to whichever team shoots it better, will win. We are both very good defensive teams. Both good rebounding teams. I’m expecting a nerve-racking 40 minutes.
