I’ll make a bet that Mullen will be an OC or HBC in 3 years, care to take it?

Didn’t they change OC for Burrows final year?

I’d say it was the OC that cost us the UK game, at the half we had held them to like 10 yards rushing.
The O didn’t do crap the second half.

Really don't see that as a conspiracy theory, to me it's pretty clearly what happened.

I have my doubts. Maybe he worked harder at it than Mullen or maybe you just didn't have to work as hard back then, especially when you bring with you a decided schematic advantage that translates to the NFL far better than most of your (Hershel left, Hershel right, Hershel up the middle) competitors. This was part of the (State of) Florida advantage for a number of years. We just played a better brand of ball than the rest of he tired-ass, Gomerville SEC and that attracted kids and/or made kids stay home.

For anecdotal evidence, I can fully remember SOS being hammered by opposing fans (and media) just for passing with a lead in the 4th quarter. Not throwing deep or trick plays, but just for merely passing with a late lead. I remember the word "classless" being thrown around by these antiquated pinhead hicks. . . who seemed to think that teams were obliged to run dive plays if they had a lead in the 4th quarter and who saw any team that didn't use double-tight, I formation (or wishbone) as some kind of abomination.

Players who "opt out" leave their teammates , coaches and fans ...they abandon all those who've supported them like a bunch of traitors. Their names should be removed from the records. We'd have lose WWII if these guys were in foxholes. Called it "cut and run".

I would not take that bet. ADs have a lot of other people's money to spend. If Muschamp was awarded another SEC gig after destroying UF, or rather, attempting to play the game without recruiting offense or moving the ball, Mullen certainly could. He can hire his old staff. Wouldn't that be something? "hey guys, we're getting the band back together".

Yep, maybe... But if 1% believe that, then they are the 1% of the people/posters that never played a day of football in their lives.
