I agree, we all need to come together around the idea that if you are rich, powerful or well-connected enough, you can do crimes. Its what this country was built on!

They're never getting behind Harris, but it could take a lot of wind out of their sails moving forward. Like, how do they respond to that?

Reverse psychology. They feed off outrage. In a way, it would be like pulling the rug out from under them. You can still call her all these names and delve into conspiracy theory, but how does that land when she just pardoned him?
I'm thinking just the Fed stuff. If the states or individuals want to go after them, that's their call.

I think Biden should pardon Hunter before he leaves office in a video to Gym Jordan and Comer Plyle extending his middle finger and telling the pair to go (redacted) themselves.

He'd have to return all the classified docs he stole which I don't believe he can do because he's given some to Putin.

Biden is going to pardon Hunter on the way out the door. I'm willing to bet that was one of Biden conditions for dropping out of the race back in July.

In no way should Trump even be considered for a pardon unless he has returned every single classified document. Even then it is questionable.

They are immune from reverse psychology, the libs thought they were being clever with Merrick Garland for SCOTUS or trying to pass Trump's border policy. Ultimately all it signals is elite impunity to the people who hate elitists, and they would look even more correct lol.

I don't think she should. I would let the prosecution play out to allow the country to see all the evidence and hear from a jury. Otherwise we will constantly hear from Trump and his allies that he was unfairly indicted as election interference and he will use this to continue to undermine and attack our justice and political system. Maybe commute his sentence if found guilty. I also don't think Biden should pardon Hunter. If you look at his crimes, he is very likely to get probation at most.

    A thousand times no.

I also feel like we overestimate the emotional IQ of his followers. They will still be disgruntled, aggrieved and pissed off no matter what olive branch is extended. It is their identity.

I see the point of your question, but honestly would say by punishing criminals.

Also -and I think you'd have to agree with this- Trump and MAGA don't view things that way. They don't abide by, well, the damn laws of our country, much less the same rules. They only take things like that as weakness, and a greenlight to steal, lie and transgress more.

To honestly reflect upon your position, I have to respectfully disagree.

In the game of disarmament, you have to have mutual destruction, logic and self-interest. I don’t see the Pubs pinning something as egregious as Jan 6 or the spector of a future Andrew Jackson on the Dems to ensure mutual destruction. Thus, she should let the wheels of justice roll.

She should pardon him but under the condition that he offers a genuine apology on national TV to the people of America for his behavior and shenanigans the past 8 years, and admits he lied about election being rigged etc. We all know he’d rather die in prison than humble him himself and do this tho.

Not a pardon but instead offer Trump a plea bargain under which he would agree to plead guilty to all of the federal changes against him in exchange for a sentence of house arrest (no incarceration), an agreement to withdraw from posting on any social media and a pledge never to run for public office again.

I’m guessing he probably already has turned down an even better plea bargain, like a recommendation of probation.

I’m shocked you don’t think Hunter will already be pardoned before either Harris or Trump could take office.
