The state legislature should allocate our Electors based on the outcome of the Florida vs. Florida State game. If the Gators win our electors go to Kamala if FSU wins then they go to Trump. That way if the Gators lose then the country wins and vice versa.

Interesting. I thought your idea was based by generalizing the characteristics of both schools graduates, and each candidate's voters.

Nice attempt but poorly executed. If I had to guess, you weren't trying to be funny you were trying to be insulting and you let your Trump hatred get in the way of good joke. I think that a better way to do it would've been, "I had the same idea about the EC only my reasoning was...."

Me too. Thought he would work it out eventually but we didn’t look competitive at all.

Yes. He had no QB in that game and led with 8 minutes left.

Max Brown was not good. (He got shut down big time by JMU in his UNC-Charlotte debut Saturday.)

    But the 3rd down calls
    The timeout after a commercial.
And the two undisciplined RTP penalties that led to 14 points, are just signs of zero growth.

Year 3 is a big jump year for coaches historically. Saturday was a disaster beyond words

This swirling vortex is not going to get better any time soon. Fire Napier, pay out 26M, see if you can get someone else to come. Fire him after three years, rinse, repeat. We’ve been on this merry go round for 15 years.

Saban said you need 20M a year in NIL money to be competitive in this new landscape and we don’t have that kind of participation. Hard to get people to contribute after what they saw Saturday.

we need to act like the big boy programs and find a way to pay the players with the ridiculous amounts of money coming in from tv contracts.

We don’t contribute to NIL as a group. Ole Miss beats our efforts

    This.

We should be able to throw money at the problem with the best of them.

Yeah. I'm pretty biased but I think our alumni are too smart to just throw millions of dollars at this nonsense of a system.

And thus I think we'll stay mediocre unless the NIL system changes.

Aren’t we in the dollar ballpark for most of the SEC other than GA, TX, and AL? I wonder how much is chicken and the egg… i.e. the expensive kids are going there?

if you think Bama and Ohio State and the like are getting their NIL 100% from boosters and fans…I don’t know what to tell you.

Where do you think they’re getting it? At the end of the day it comes from boosters, fans, and businesses that contribute. We get just as much from the SEC TV contracts as Bama and Georgia. Our NIL group is not getting the money from fan/booster contributions and we can see why. We are a dog chasing our tail right now.

There are billboards on I-75 trying to get people to pony up some cash. I get why people don’t but this is a new landscape and we’re behind.

It's similar to the US economy. The haves get to use their money to make more money. Being in the same ballpark as the "other" SEC teams just means the big boys distance themselves even more and more every season. More money. Better players. More wins. More money. Better players. More wins.

Good luck breaking out of the middle class

They are getting it from their respective schools - the same way they got it before NIL existed. UF plays by the rules. Which is why we are where we are.

Our collective can now coordinate with the school, just like everyone else.

Before NIL existed the money came from boosters and bag men.
