Edit: Just heard in an attorney representing some of the migrants. She used the exact phrase "fraudulently induced" to describe how they were deceived into boarding the plane for Massachusetts.

 

As a point of information they've just been moved to a military base on Cape Cod which has the facilities better able to accommodate them than what was available on Martha's Vineyard.

Two million immigrants have illegally crossed the border this year. Those are pretty much open borders in my eyes. I don’t think anyone is against any person doing what is necessary to enter the country legally but the situation now is completely out of control.

Take off the Biden blinders. His handling of the border crisis has been an absolute disaster.

 

What is the racial component to this? This is all about Biden handling a situation as poorly as anyone possibly could and you are bringing race into the conversation?

Notice again, there is the avoidance of the actual issue: that somebody is referring to legal immigrants as illegals.

Let me directly ask you, since all the other triggered people won't answer (and I suspect you won't either): is a legal migrant who has the legal right to live in the US for now an "illegal?" If no, you answered your own question.

Considering Florida has filed suit against biden over his failed immigration policy. It is a way to bring light to the failure. Which is in Florida’s interest.

 

Sorry. What's going on at the border is nothing new. One thing that did happen? The pandemic, which slowed border crossings and apprehensions down for two years. But average the apprehensions out for the last four years, and it would look a lot like the mid 1990s on terms of numbers.

Want to know why apprehensions were dropping since around 2009? Nothing the US did. Instead, it was the result of an improving Mexican economy. The reason for the current rise? More immigrants coming from C. American countries of Guatemala, Honduras, and El Salvador, plus S Americans from Venezuela.

They would be coming if Trump were President too. Because while Trump lowered legal immigration, he accomplished nothing to stop undocumented immigration.

 

Those 50 migrants hit the lottery with this. And as a side note…yes it is a political victory from the standpoint our policy is broken and we are now talking about it.

Now it is time to fix it. Not likely with the idiots in charge up in Washington right now.

Talking about it isn't going to do anything because no one wants to do anything. We've spent millions repairing Trump's border wall because it's been breached so many times. Want to fix it? Pass Federal E-Verify but the GOP would never go for that. Look at Florida and how they caved to Big Sugar and made E-Verify only apply to state jobs and not the private sector
