The players getting paid on third party NIL deals, not employment contracts, doesn’t really make it like the NBA. Other than the fact that they’re playing basketball, what else is similar? The nba has developmental teams (no, mid-majors are not the same thing), they have a draft, they have employment contracts that restrict movement from team to team, they can trade players, they have all kinds of things we don’t have in college. People keep likening what we have in college now to what they have in the pros, but I’ve yet to see many similarities outside of the fact that insane amounts of money are being thrown around. That alone doesn’t make the leagues comparable at all, imo.

It would be interesting to see which has more stable rosters from year to year; I scarcely pay attention to the NBA, so I'm not sure how they compare. But I've heard the NBA referred to as a league where you follow players rather than teams...not nearly as interesting to me.

    Go GATORS!

For teams like Kentucky, Duke and St johns, It's a new team roaster every year. For teams like us, Golden has kept a lot of his players.

Golden has doubt in Denzel running the point, He probably wants more ball movement unless you are shooters like Clayton. I think he prefer Lee as the PG. DA also wanted to be the PG or he will leave. So Golden made the call.

I'm not accurate with my no good English. It's more like NBA meaning it's trending more like the NBA comparing to the old NCAA. Yes NBA has development teams not the same thing like mid major. But the only difference is mid major has a lot of stars. Recruiting freshmen is not exactly draft, but the purpose is the same just not the same rule. LIke i said the employment contract are different but i think NCAA will soon come up with something similar. Trading is not allowed during the season but its' not a big difference that changes what i feel that NCAA is trending towards NBA

people like me will always like the NCAA more than NBA, because the new faces every year is fun. and most people follow the school they went to or growing up liking rather than the players

I don’t see many similarities in how the two leagues operate at all, outside of the fact that they both play basketball.

Unfortunately, I agree. But you know what is the ultimate power?

So with the addition of Brown, how many spots do we have left open? Seems like just one? So if we get Claude, we don't get Stoyo or Henshall?

Aberdeen was scheduled to definitely start next year...now he goes to Kentucky where most people say he will come off the bench. Make it make since

Good point. There aren't many guys that can manufacture a good look out of nothing like Clayton, so ball movement, and moving without the ball, will be key. AJ Brown looks like a good catch and shoot guy, but his shot has a bit of a windup so he has to be wide open. I didn't see enough of Isaiah to get get a feeling about his shot.
Klavzar can get a shot up in a hurry, and is a good passer. Don't know about the incoming freshmen.
Henshall looks like he can get offense in a number of ways.
