Man, I will always miss the times when you literally went fishing during the games because it helped us win and always miss "Typing as I listen...." Love you like a brother even though I dont know you personally you truly felt like a brother on here. Take it easy and come back randomly to post.

That first game was behind the basket that the Gators played in the first half.

Once I got season tickets it was first at the fourth row behind the other basket and now second row. I sit right behind the Moose Man.

Marty Liquori is another season ticket holder I know. Marty was a U.S. olympic miler who did some work for ESPN. He retired to Hogtown and plays jazz gigs on guitar. I used to play with him regularly at Leonardo's 706. Marty's seats were about 4rows behind the Gator bench.

    Better seats than mine.

For some reason my father in law knew Marty (or was it Marti?). Real estate stuff?

Marty. He may have gotten into real estate. I only know him as a former runner and commentator who got me jazz gigs.

I wasn't big into Friends of Jazz but my father in law knew Marty and got me great seats to see Larry Coryell. I played guitar and he was one of my heroes. I took a friend of mine that is a much better axman than me and he was gob smacked with his playing.

I am sure that is one of the conditions. He happened to be on a team with Clayton, Richard, and Martin. As good as he is what those three accomplished as starters will never be replicated.

Martin, Richard, and Clayton all came here from other schools off the NBA radar. They all got paid, started, and contributed significantly to our third national championship. The blessings of God, a new environment, and financial incentives caused them to flourish.

How do we know the same will not happen to Aberdeen? I am sure Kentucky is banking on that. As with Martin with us, they now have a player who has been deep into the tournament, and played significant minutes against two top seed teams and the back to back defending national champions. Kentucky did not bring him there to sit on the bench.

NIL and portal make players independent contractors rather than Gators. Difficult to follow players now. No loyalty and the Princely, ETN, Denzel type transfers within the SEC hurt fan base. Hard to get aboard an emotional journey when that occurs. Thanks for your contributions overbred years Aka!
