It was a bipartisan bill that Trump squelched.
Biden is sharper than "asylum immigrants were in a crazy house" Trump.
The information added to the hard drive was Russian disinformation.

So now the idiots who want to try to say this isn’t a big deal are trying to gaslight us. Too funny. Anyone thinking this isn’t a big deal is an either ignorant or doesn’t care about murderers running around the US.

I do care about about murderers running around the US although personally I'm more concerned with armed violent criminals who happen to be US citizens than I am with illegals considering that there is an infinitely greater chance that I could be a victim of the former rather than the latter. By the way I happen to live in an area in which there have been multiple murders committed by MS13 gang members. The overwhelming majority of their victims have been fellow gang members who were executed based on the perception that they may have been disloyal or members of other gangs. I am also concerned about the ease in which criminals can acquire firearms thanks to the effectiveness of the gun lobby.

Brown immigrants committing less crime than ‘muricans is clearly a big issue. The more immigrants the lower our crime rate if you trend it out.

    "Idiots....ignorant....gaslighting...."

Try not to be so angry. I'm pretty sure Trump built at least a few miles of new wall. Even if Mexico didn't pay for any of it.

And Steve Bannon collected millions to build more wall! Even if he was just stealing the money. (But at least he got pardoned for it by Trump! )

So when you think about that big, beautiful wall.....your glass can be half full if you want it! The choice is yours. :)

If the US population was 500 million you, AzCat and VA would still be saying we need to bring in workers to do the jobs Americans won't do. Have you ever thought about what the ideal US population should be?

The number of people who want to come to Smerica is far higher than the number we let in. Tell us why you think we should let in a single murderer, rapist career criminal or terrorist.

Not expecting g an answer from you. VA, AzCat or even mdgator05.

You've never been around shift workers, have you? Bless your heart. You need a fourth shift so that workers can occasionally get a day off. Or do plan to work them 365 days a year? Or will you ask the illegal immigrants to take turns guarding the border? "You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say--hey, wait a minute--my weekend just started. Here, hold my rifle. I'll be back on Monday."

The solution to the immigration problem is actually fairly simple, as I've said before. Convince Mexico to let us put a consulate just north of Mexico City, and run railroad tracks from there to El Paso. Check passports and fingerprints after selling them tickets in the consulate, check the luggage for drugs and weapons (just like airport security), and then send them on a train at 125 mph to El Paso. Nine hours later, they are in the U.S. They get off the train and select one of multiple buses to travel to San Diego, Houston, or wherever they need to go. Known criminals would be turned away at passport control. When they first use the train, Security could collect a hair sample for DNA to help identify any of them that commit crimes in the U.S.

The U.S. pays for the 1100 miles of railroad tracks and the trains (should be about $5-10 billion, including the consulate and the train station in El Paso). Split the cost with Mexico for the security and maintenance of the railroad tracks. Mexico would appreciate this arrangement because their people would have a safe way to bring U.S. dollars back into Mexico. It would be good for the U.S. because people from Central and South America do jobs that Americans do not want to do.

This would be the preferred method for immigrating from Central and South America to the U.S. There would still be a need to let locals cross the border at border cities, but most immigration would be by train. It would be safe, and it would eliminate drug smuggling and criminals infiltrating the country through this path. When we catch someone jumping the border, it will be much more likely that they are a criminal or drug smuggler. Prosecute them and after they serve their time (if any), send them back on the train and push them out at Mexico City. One problem with the current system is that Border Patrol is catching the same people 4-5 times a night, since they are released on the Mexican side of the border they only have to take a few steps and try to find a new path into the U.S. If an immigrant commits a minor to semi-serious crime, revoke their visa and ban them from re-entry for 5 years or something like that.

I predict you'll be about as right on this as you were on that Senate bet you lost a couple of years ago.

The answer is that the orderly issuance of temporary work permits would be far more effective at preventing the entry of criminal immigrants than the the system we have now of essentially ignoring the entry of illegals to perform jobs that Americans will not. The dirty little not so secret is that except for occasional infrequent show roundups the administrations of both parties give employers of undocumented workers a free pass. The prosecutions of employers who hire illegal immigrants are few and far between. If Trump is elected and actually does go forward with his mass roundup the results would be disastrous for the economy.

Just so we’re clear, you’d rather have illegal murderers running around than US murderers. See, what I want is no illegals who are murderers in our country. Guess I’m just weird that way.

Wrong, someone who’s a murderer is much more likely to commit another violent crime and because our border is open we have a boatload of illegal murderers running around.

Any evidence they've all come in under Biden?
