Biden needs to step aside. Plain and simple.

trump was who he always was. An unhinged liar spouting insanity that only his most devout followers can believe.

But he’s easily going to win against Biden at this point. Because there is no way to justify voting for a guy standing in his own grave.

Not going to continue to hammer both men as there has been plenty of that going on already. I find it truly sad, and almost depressing, that in a Country that fields a citizenry with so much potential, these two clowns are what we get to choose from. It's disgraceful, and I blame both parties, and their backers, for not having the fortitude to make the necessary changes.

Who is to blame for allowing a two party monopoly that has conspired to enrich their friends while bankrupting the country?

Can you say "Electoral College"? Although it will probably not happen in my lifetime we really need a Constitutional Amendment replacing the EC and electing the president through the popular vote maybe with a runoff if no candidate receives a majority.

The GOP will never allow that. Look at the popular votes for potus over the last several cycles.

Last night was a two hour display of what we have been seeing in five and ten minute increments for about five years now in very controlled situations. It is very obvious to all that his family has failed him miserably for their own selfish interests. I cant feel two bad for Biden though as he is the same person that Jill and Hunter are. The only question remaining is; given that what we saw last night doesn’t happen in a couple of years is just who has been running the country for the last 3.5 years?

That's why I said that it would never happen in my lifetime. Although it tends to align with party I think it's more of a case of small states unwilling to give up their power.

Obviously a guess it may turn out that the Fox News talking heads and other right-wing commentators were right about Biden being on drugs. What they got wrong was rather than being hopped up on stimulants Biden have been suffering from the effects of heavy duty drugs to suppress cold symptoms.

There is a stark difference between Democrats and Republicans on their Presidential candidates. Biden has a bad debate, which reinforces concerns about his sharpness and pretty much down the line Democratic media and voters are criticizing him. Calls for him to step down are pretty loud. Whether he ends up doing it or not isn't really the difference. What's different is that Democrats are not emotionally invested in Biden. Whether it's Biden or another person in office, Dems really don't care that much. They also have no problem criticizing him. Other Democratic politicians do not need to fear being ostracized for not kissing his ring. Republicans need to become their party again and disassociate from MAGA.

    No. Try again.

Joe Bidens miserable debate performance and clearly advanced age don't mean people like you get to push your baseless narratives of lies such as "selfish family" and "who is running the country. " Nice try though. (No, not really actually. )

You can now get back to cheering for the rapist convicted felon who accepted election help from Russia and tried to overturn an election. Or you can pretend not to support that criminality, as you support the organization that lies for him.

In any case : clearly advanced age > clear criminality.

And we know which side you're on.

It’s obvious that Joe’s campaign will have to win this election just like he won the 2020 election. Go ahead and pre-order the Chinese bamboo paper ballots, negotiate with Hugo Chavez, double up on those 2000 mules, make sure the Italian satellites can handle the work load, pre-program the Dominion voting machines, and update their database of dead people who want to vote Democrat. Or we might end up with a convicted felon with little regard for the rule of law and the Constitution as CIC.

I can see that you must just be a wonderful human being (actually we already knew that Jo) and a loving child and spouse who would put your own infirm parent or spouse into a situation to embarrass themself if front of the world and to destroy an entire nation so you can enrich yourself off of his name, and get to play First Lady for a few years. Well pal, just remember that you reap what you sow. The good thing for you in your advanced infirm years is that you will have embarrassed yourself for so many years that people may not notice.

Up until last night Democrats had circled the wagons and defended Biden to the hilt. “Cheap fakes” was all over Main stream media. No one was actually talking about him needing to step down. Liberal posters here were talking up how sharp Biden was and how deliberate the right was in making him look bad… the cheerleading was STRONG ( and for a select few posters still is ) until last night
Once it became clear, to everyone, once it became beyond arguable that Biden is not mentally capable of winning or running the country THEN democrats jumped ship and are willing to admit he is flawed.
And there have been several conservatives on this board that have called out Trump and refuse to vote for him. Many conservatives across the country are not MaGA and have spoke. Out against Trump. They just don’t get the sound bytes, the media attention because they don’t draw the eyeballs like the sycophants do.

    I am being fair.

The debate last night was far less than say... a January 6th type of event. Let's say that it took this debate for Democrats to switch positions on Biden, that is far lower threshold than what happened that day at the Capitol. I was a person who said Biden didn't seem to be losing too much of a step, but I admit that the debate altered my opinion. I still think he is capable of doing the job, but I'd honestly prefer him stepping down and enjoying the remaining years of his life in retirement from public office. He's had a long and storied career, which led him to the apex of success. No shame in moving on.

When Republicans stand up and say that Trump is unfit for office due to the insurrection, the refusing to turn over classified material, the pressuring of Ukraine, etc... then we can have a discussion on who is being fair or unfair.

My mind was changed. I now am in the camp that Joe is too old and needs to be replaced.

However, if he isn't, he will get my vote.

Thought this is as good as anytime to remind people that one of the candidates has, amongst other things (before, during and after his presidency):

    1. Serial bankruptcies (where he cost vendors/creditors hundreds of millions)

    2. Serially stiffs creditors

    3. Serial adulterer

    4. Serial liar

    5. Cheater of CHARITIES

    6. Serial consumer fraudster

    7. Fraudster in records

    8. Liar/defamer/molester.

    9. Convicted felon.

    10. And is currently on trial for:

    a. Mishandling our country’s most sensitive secrets (which is the easiest case to prove but for a judge he appointed that is openly helping him)

    b. Jan 6 actions

    c. Illegally threatening and endeavoring to interfere with Georgia elections.

    The other candidate is old.

What’s actually interesting about your “bargain” is Trump’s newest and clearest contrivance that he doesn’t even want to be in the race, but is running only because he needs to stop Biden. Well, if Biden steps down (thus eliminating Trump’s “need” to run, Trump will be faced with that put-up or shut-up moment.

    No, it is not.

The two parties have conspired together to keep third party candidates off of the debate stage.

The dumb Biden camp would have benefited from Kennedy being on stage.

The dumb MAGA people would have benefited by waiting until after the "convention" to debate Biden.

    Dumb and dumber....
