Wish I could find it again, but someone posted a video of a firetruck at a pot dispensary before the hurricane, and they were yelling at people on the loudspeaker not to do anything too strong and keep a clear head.
@G8trGr8t I'm feeling pretty comfortable about getting that LOMR now. Not sure how I can be considered a flood risk at this point after not having water within 20 feet of my lowest finished floor though almost 23 inches of rain in 24 hours.
Get you one or two of these portable power stations. They come larger with much more capacity but I can power a lot of things with just this little one.
It was built for those winds. I believe I remember it being rated for like 125mph. And I think having all those workers on the west side of the bay was strategic.(In case of a bridge/causeway issue.) And pretty sure this has been done by other govs also.
Especially a guy with like 20 arrests for some pretty terrible things. The glamorizing of this lowlife is just crazy.
Good rec. I got a Bluetti with fewer watt hours than yours, mostly for my CPAP. Used it half a night and went down about half power. I am happy with the brand and plan to upgrade.
Yikes. Medical needs are a whole different game. I have a Honda Generator as well and can charge the Bluetti(s) if needed. It's been almost 20 years since my area of Jacksonville lost power for any significant time but it's good to have a plan of options.
TECO has 500k with out power. The kick in the nuts is the CVS across the street, gas station and the homes across my street have power. My entire block is out due to trees. So the trees need to be cleared before they can fix the lines.
I had to test the battery pack on a random night that I'm still not sure why I lost power. I have a Honda gas generator as well. The EU2200i. Very quiet. Really like it. But I'm still going to upgrade batteries! Link for those interested: https://powerequipment.honda.com/generators/models/eu2200i
The Rays sign bats? Can I interest you in a guy who hit .197 last year but can steal bases and hit the occasional home run? Because they will probably have like 5 of those.
Thats the entire bottom half of the lineup. And maybe a backup catcher with a pulse? I hated the Randy trade, but I sorta get it. The Glasnow trade may be good if DeLuca plays like he did the last month and Pepiot continues to develop (pepiot basically had same numbers as Glas this season), but man...someone that can hit just .230 in the 5-9 spot would be a huge upgrade. I know its off topic, but its still fresh.
This might be the craziest Milton survival story: Sailor rescued 30 miles out to sea clinging to COOLER after hurricane sank boat Clinging to a cooler in 90 mph winds in 25 foot waves. Insane!
