She threw the gun in the trash because she was concerned that Hunter would kill himself rather than that he would kill someone else. Her exact quote:
Widow of Beau Biden tells jurors in Hunter Biden's gun trial that she threw firearm in a trash can

You really do have a propensity for fabrication.

I think it was rather obvious that @okeechobee meant the Hallie tossed the gun because she was concerned that Hunter could kill a third person not himself.

While I still think it's rather obvious what he meant I would agree that his language was vague enough that he could have been referring to both the homicide of a 3rd person as well as suicide in which Hunter used the gun to take his own life although based on Hallie's exact words she was concerned that Hunter could take his own life or alternatively that her children could could harm themselves or others if they ever got a hold of the gun. It's rather obvious that she wasn't concerned with the possibility that Hunter would go out and kill someone.

That Hunter continued lying about this episode all the way through trial undercuts his “recovery” narrative. Addicts admit what they did and learn from it. Hunter just kept lying. Would not surprise me at all to find out he’s still using. All the signs of an active addict are there.

I mean, do you want him to? Never mind the politically embarrassing aspects of this case for a second. Let's say his dad was just a rich and influential guy, but not the President. Isn't this someone you think should be held legally accountable for an indisputable pattern of misconduct?

Once again did Hunter testify at his trial? If he did so I must have missed the coverage and once again although he may very well have been addicted to crack during the time he possessed the gun there was no direct evidence that he was using at the time. I would agree that there was more than enough circumstantial evidence to support the verdict there was no direct evidence that he was using when he owned the gun.

Not similar??? It’s the exact topic. I linked an article from 2020 about the 51 agents that said laptop was disinformation. now the Babylon bee says the conviction itself is Russian disinformation? That’s pretty Darn Funny . They knew back then it wasn’t disinformation. At least I can laugh at it.

What's so damn funny to me is the elephant in the room that's being ignored especially by the Trump supporters: not one word (that I've seen) has been uttered by us progressives saying this was a "rigged" trial etc. ad nauseam! Conversely, the. Trumpers have accepted the trial as our universally revered judicial system at work. In other words, progressives have principles they adhere to even when they'd rather not, and MAGAts have none, their principles, nay, their morality, is situational.

Maybe it's funny to people who don't understand the difference between saying something is Russian disinformation vs saying people should use caution because it sounds like Russian disinformation?

    Oooh stop it

    https://www.politico.com/news/2020/10/19/hunter-biden-story-russian-disinfo-430276

"Hunter Biden story is Russian disinfo, dozens of former intel officials say," Jen Psaki, who later served as White House press secretary, wrote in October 2020, which was retweeted by now-Domestic Policy Council director Susan Rice

I wonder if Hunter is going to have to stop serving in his elected office or suspend his Presidential campaign now that he was convicted.

Ahem. Justice system that worked ? Hardly. You suspiciously neglected to put in the part where the Biden DOJ federal prosecutors who were working with the defense team to get Hunter a sweetheart plea deal. You know the one where they gave him blanket immunity from now till eternity. They were only prevented from doing so at the last minute by a pesky judge who had the nerve to ask the federal prosecutors if there any precedent for a offering such an open ended plea……. and of course they were forced to admit no. Then and only then comes special counsel.
