Maybe Kennedy is right that the agencies will now be able to do a better job with far fewer people. And maybe he's not. I doubt any of us knows. But it continues to be significant ... From the human side, imagine getting an email this morning that you no longer have a job ... https://www.cnn.com/2025/04/01/health/staff-cuts-at-federal-health-agencies-have-begun/index.html
Kennedy is nothing but a scam artist amongst a sea of grifters, criminals and scam artists. US leadership in science and medicine is already being threatened and will become yet another casualty of this criminal take over. Worse yet, once these idiots are all out of office and in prison, we are going to have to spend 2-3X the amount of money to put our federal departments back together again.
The destruction being caused by the Trump administration seems to me to be beyond anything any of us could have imagined. It’s a nightmare.
Should have been done years ago. Our nation is at a debt crises, if severe changes are not made now, the 37 trillion dollar deficit will morph into the point of no return. That will be the “true” nightmare—-
Lol at that excuse. The jobs cut amount to one or two f-47s. It’s a drop in the ocean. The risk reward of cutting health agency employees vs. spending a few million bucks isn’t even worth discussing.
Weird that Trumppublicans just never can grasp the proportions of US federal spending, as in discretionary vs. non-discretionary. Weirder still how their fiscal hawkishness instantaneously evaporates when someone propses tax cuts for the rich.
Yeah, but that sure did sound good. Almost as good as it did when Hannity/Tucker/"Fill in the blank MAGA simp" originally said it. Good 'ole MAGA and their "Polly Want a Cracker" routine.
No one on the left will agree with you. Only independents and the right will agree with you. Bottom line is we have a spending problem and need cuts across the board, nothing should be exempt from cuts. Have to tighten our belt. Been saying that for over a decade and nothing gets done...
Maybe because it's easier said than done. Also, explain tax cuts in this paradigm. How does that work when trying to address a deficit? P.S. Take your time on this. I know you have to consult your handlers for the "correct" answer.
WTF is this? I'm not here at your whim to answer questions that you can look up yourself. If you don't think we need to cut spending, then that's a you problem.
Yep. As I suspected - and like the entirety of MAGA - you're just here to talk shit. Thanks for the admission of your complete and utter uselessness as a human being. . . and a testament to why Poll Testing should be reinstituted.
Why do you keep accusing me of being maga? Are you on medication that makes you forget? Let's this be lesson to kids everywhere, Don't do drugs!
Sounded like a MAGA talking point to me, the panacea of "cutting' with the complete omission of the effect of tax cuts on the deficit. If you truly care about the deficit, then you have to address cost AND revenue. Basic common sense. MAGA doesn't care about the deficit (that's just a talking point, as evidenced by the tax cuts). They just like the pain it causes to others.
