    Yeah I don’t see 70mph either. While it was a hard hit, based on the clearer video it didn’t seem as hard as the spikes of elite Olympic level women, but did seem comparable to some of the best HS girls in NC.

    Seems like we are seeing simplistic exchanges from both sides

    Side 1: transgender women put cisgender women in danger
    Side 2: there is no danger as you can find cisgender women as powerful and big as these transgender women.

    It is true that you an find examples in womens volleball or other women getting face planted with spikes. It is true that some women can hit the ball just as hard or harder than what was on the video and are just as tall.

    But it is also true that biological males are on average taller and stronger than women, and they have a “leg up” from the start, which has fairness implications and safety implications.

    parents - Hey Richmond public schools, are you saying it’s ok for a 13yo boy to walk around the female locker room with his dic- in his hand?

    Richmond public schools - no we are not. We do not require him to put it in his hand, he is welcome to walk around with his dic- on full display.

    parents - Ok great. Thank goodness for progress.


    And before you say that doesn’t happen/ aka strawman. It already did. More than one swimmer complained “lia Thomas” had zero issues with walking around with his junk out in the locker room.

    Why do they keep saying “sex assigned to them at birth”? It isn’t assigned, it’s documented. It’s like saying my doctor assigned my blood pressure or weight.

    They mean what's listed on your birth certificate. And though that's generally clear, there are instances where it's not and it has to be assigned.

    Sex assignment (sometimes known as gender assignment) is the discernment of an infant's sex at or before birth.[1] A relative, midwife, nurse or physician inspects the external genitalia when the baby is delivered and, in more than 99.95% of births, sex is assigned without ambiguity.

    Honest question. I really don’t know…. I give blood regularly. lifeSouth here in atlanta and started back in my Gville days. 2 back to back questions. One is “‘what is my sex. Male or female “. Then next question. “ is current sex the same as at birth “. What difference does that make while donating whole blood ? Slightly off topic. My apology.

    Just a guess, but they might be interested if you are on any hormone therapy, which may disqualify one from giving blood?

    Not sure if chilling is accurate. To be fair I would like to see some more background and context on this story. Growing up in tampa baseball was Uber competitive. On more than one occasion when a boy was new and seemingly dominant they were asked to produce birth certificate to ensure they were of appropriate age. If it was discovered they were indeed same age but overwhelmingly dominant it was not uncommon for that boy to play up to a higher division until the rest of boys could catch up ( usually high school level) . fairly straightforward solution and nobody got upset. Would have to see/ read more about this particular scenario.

    they ask that in separate questions. You have to answer about 40
    Questions in the screening. They ask about any meds, therapy, drug use etc. didn’t mean to get off topic.
