Oh it's different world for sure. Oklahoma State head Coach Mike Gundy tells his players to stop asking for more money. "The good news is, the next five months we can just play football," Gundy said last week. "There's no negotiating now. The portal's over. All the negotiation's history. Now we're playing football. "The business side of what we do now -- we have to have those conversations with [the players]. 'Tell your agent to quit calling us and asking for more money. It's non-negotiable now. Some of those guys were the worst statistical tacklers on our team when they played for the Gators. Won't name names, don't need to, but I'm glad to have who we have on our team. Some of those players would be on the bench on this year's defensive team in Gainesville.

I've been re-watching the season this summer. Some of those are big losses- 1, both 7s, 17 and 23. 10 was on the field a lot- not sure how well he did but I really don't know. Leonard was hurt much of the year, but I wished he had stayed as well. Some are not losses- at least they don't feel like it after viewing the season and seeing them get burned. I hope the transfers in are upgrades.
I wasn't being sarcastic- I honestly don't know. I do know teams would gash us over and over again on what seemed to me to be simple running plays. We would have huge gaps of green grass so many times- it was like our opponents were playing vs air. (I exaggerate, but not by much.) Whose fault was that? I just don't know. We have to get so much better to compete with our current schedule- just to win 6 games. Watching last year's offense actually encourages me a little- but the D does not.
