So junior high school type crap.

 

That is when I left that site. When they put a paywall on their political forum I left. There are too many people out there charging for access to their sites I prefer to use free sites only. Don't need to have to keep track of a bunch of internet payments. Oh and the posts over there were not "unmoderated" the moderators there were just more right leaning than the mods here. That was why for a while I preferred to post there.

Nah. I saw a lot of blatant racism over there.I had some screenshots of it from posters that left here for there. It was barely moderated.

 

However, as a fiscal conservative who is constantly labeled a “leftist” because I don’t support reckless policies, I would disagree that it is, in any way, an accurate label.

 

5151 said that was just “right leaning” discourse. I think we should take him at his word.

 

I am not part of the exodus, nor am I part of the "other" site, but if you're going to insult people who left because they come back and don't feel like showing their faces, you get what you ask for, and you demonstrate their reasons for leaving.

Personally I would welcome them back to GC, just like I would if there were a liberal exodus.

 

Many of them were serial rule breakers and could not abide by the rules here (that was their main reason for leaving, they didn't want moderation and resented it!), so they would make things worse for everyone if they did. But the good news is I don't think they want to come back anyways.

 

And here I thought spamming "big fat 'unt" was postsecondary.

They didnt have mods when the exodus happened. He added mods once it went off the rails. I was asked to leave GC and become the first (I believe) mod over there. I declined.

Yeah, my logic is creative. Sounds like these people had nothing to offer than the usual MAGA 8th-grade playground BS. So, good riddance. If all you want is a mosh pit, go to X.
