His flip to $cum cost us Kris Jones.

Or alternatively, Jones commitment to UGa gave us Chiles.

We recruited Hayes over Jones, who went elsewhere. Hayes bolted last minute.

Hayes was our 2nd LB commit in a class that was going to take 3 or maybe 4 LB's. He wasn't the reason that Jones went to UGa. Maybe Chiles, who committed in June may have impacted Jones decision, but Hayes had been a UF commitment since Jan 2023.

Chiles committed after Jones dragged his feet. After Chiles, Billy thought he didn't need Jones.

I still think Chiles will be a great surprise... special. Screw the Miami players.

Jones wanted to commit, but he wasn't given the green light to from what i heard. Could be wrong

Chiles was the take over Jones. Hayes played his game and lost his spot, here's hoping we land a portal LB that can contribute early

Like to see a jump for Wingo, Scooby or J Robinson.

Somebody has to take the other spot and show out.

Same effect though no? If we didn't land hayes we would still be looking for another LB or did they just not like Jones's game? Recruits have the right to change their minds but the ones that do it so late they leave a vacant spot in a class that otherwise could be filled are really the only ones that "bother" me.

I didn't think it was possible, but I actually saw some improvement from Wingo. Scooby is a lost cause IMO and should be moved to WDE (He is a decent pass rusher). I didn't see enough of Robinson to form an opinion. Shemar can play, but I don't even think he is a MLB run-stuffer. He is our only current SEC level LB.
