Sounds like you’ve never fired a weapon at a target while being under pressure.

You’re saying a 20 year old with no military experience is such an expert marksman to make those shots miss on purpose but still clip an ear with adrenaline coursing through him?

When in reality, what makes sense is that a 20 year old with no real training missed because of the heart pounding in his ears making him pull or push his shots.

Agreed. People on both sides need to stop acting like there is a conspiracy. It's one person being delusional and trying to kill someone. Nothing more, nothing less. Thankfully that guy has been erased from the human race.

Now what can we all learn from this to be better? It sure isn't the blame game that will help us rise above it.

I don't think he was shooting at his ear. It is obvious he missed although being someone who has done a lot of target shooting with that type rifle I am surprised he missed Trump with all the shots. As close as the one was that hit his ear I am surprised the next shot didn't get him. I am happy it didn't and said for the family of the bystanders that were shot.

It is at least two people. There is one person who tried to kill someone, and there is at least one more person who dropped the ball in the secret service.

Are you suggesting the secret service intentionally dropped the ball? Are they officially part of the deep state now?

Not saying that all. I am simply saying the events that transpired were enabled by the actions of at least two people. The question in the case is whether the additional party (or parties) is (are) guilty or negligent.

I thought you were suggesting it was a conspiracy because it involved at least two people. The secret service being negligent is not a conspiracy.

I am not advocating for any conspiracies here. I am simply saying we don't have proof of negligence yet. That is a very valid theory, but it is unproven at this point.

All I know is God help the USA...will we be sane or insane? Never in my life since JFK was shot that I fear for the future of our great nation... may we unite and realize that we are on the edge of the precipice...or will ignore all and give in to our most animal instincts....hmmmmm...God help us all ....and God bless the USA...

There would be nothing new about bodyguards involved in the assassination of a country's president or prime minister, most notably Indira Gandhi, killed by her bodyguards. There was security stripping by the Secret Service in Dallas. ("Move those motorcycle cops back from the limo. Take that doctor out of the limo or follow-up car, put him way back in the motorcade. When the shooting starts, don't get the limo out of there, SLOW IT DOWN.") Throw in the FBI destroying evidence, etc., but never mind all that, Oswald did it!

How does this make him any less of a coward? I assume the coward comment refers to him having daddy buy his waynout of the draft, so being shot at makes him not a coward?

He ducked so fast (as most would) once he realized he was clipped. He was asking about his shoes while covered by secret service agents (per official transcripts) and was not asking if anyone in the crowd was hurt, etc

So please, do tell us why he is not a coward due to this event... and technically, since Yeumps calls dead soldiers and POWs "losers" tell why in addition to not being a coward, also tell us why he should also now not be called a loser, per his definition, for being shot.
