At least 8 wins likely 9 now that the schedule has gotten easier Given the schedule is easier: FSU is trash Kentucky is trash A&M is maybe top 40-50 If we are a top 25 caliber team all three of those should be wins.
Players are the most important resource and we may have a talent problem still in a few areas and a coaching problem also.
A “natty” that is more likely than not going to be stripped once the investigation is done. Bad example.
He wouldn’t be the first cheat to be allowed to keep his trophies. He wouldn’t be the first to lose his trophies either. Either way, his team won it on the field after being forced to make staff changes and take a pay cut. There are no hard and fast rules when it comes to this stuff.
Michigan is one of the chosen few from way way back. There won’t be any purposeful investigation and nothing will be stripped. The double standard is alive and well in college football
That might very well be. And I would be more inclined to believe it if Harbaugh had stayed. His golden parachute allows him to not face the consequences just like it did Pete Carroll. Maybe that's a happy coincidence. Maybe Harbaugh has a pretty good idea what's coming like Carroll did.
TBH, if I were Laylane Kiffen, I would stay at Ole Miss. 5 more years and he's worth how much? Easier job, lower expectations, still able to field a good team. If we do make a change, Lane is probably not the finalist.
Well, lets not jump on the Miami bus just yet. They've had two crappy seasons with a lot of embarrassment, too, including a head coach not understanding the victory formation. It looks like you're basically basing their success on one solid defeat of a very average (at best) team (us) this year. Cristobal is 14-13 at Miami. Napier is 12-15. Nobody can write home about either of those records.
You keep posting this line and If Ga and Bama are the only ones that count as big games you are correct. Further ole Miss in its long history has never even made the Atlanta game much less win it. However, I guarantee you that ole Miss fans count kiffin's wins over LSU, A&m, Auburn, State and Tennessee as big games.
Sure bro, 20/20 hindsight right? My only point is that 1.2 games into his career, Lagway hasn’t proven to be a generational talent at this point any more than AR did after his stellar performance in his game 1 against Utah. I damn sure hope Lagway proves to be a generational talent in SEC competition. Right now 41 points against Samford doesn’t make him the 2nd coming of Tim Tebow. Hey there may never be another of those. Go Gators
He's too stubborn to take any advice so he's cutting his own throat. I really like BN but he seemingly takes advice from no one. What he's been doing is not working...why?
If they are 10-11 win teams, they are . Beating top 5 teams is what I’m talking about. We beat Tenn last year and it was great but that’s no career defining win for Napier is all I’m saying.
I don’t like forcing coaches. If the season in the rear view mirror doesn’t paint the picture for him, it’s not worth it.
