If true, it’s very interesting to me. I’m surprised we can’t come together to defeat or weaken Russia.

It’s not for lack of trying. The fact is we cannot weaken Russia. We can only strengthen it.

China is preparing to send almost 13,000 satellites into low-Earth orbit in order to directly compete with—and monitor—SpaceX’s Starlink constellations.

Huge numbers of satellites like this are becoming less and less unexpected. They are not without their faults—a fact that any astronomer whose data has been ruined by the devices’ reflectivity will be quick to tell you—but they have the potential to increase internet coverage and communication efficiency around the world. So, it’s not surprising China wants in on the action.

The project, codenamed “GW,” is being run by a newly established group called China Satellite Network Group Co, whose hope is to quickly launch a total of 12,992 small satellites into orbit. This would dwarf Starlink’s current count of around 3,500 satellites, though SpaceX plans to have 12,000 satellites in orbit by 2027 and an eventual total count of 40,000 orbiting devices.

China’s need to move so quickly on this project comes from a desire to prevent Starlink from dominating the low-Earth orbit space and preventing other companies or countries from occupying the area. Researchers at the People’s Liberation Army’s Space Engineering University in Beijing involved with the China Satellite Network Group Co are hoping, according to the South China Morning Post, to “ensure that our country has a place in low orbit and prevent the Starlink constellation from excessively pre-empting low-orbit resources” and “gain opportunities and advantages at other orbital altitudes, and even suppress Starlink.”

China is throwing out western ideas on the proper way to run a government, such as constitutional government, separation of powers, and judicial independence.

China and Russia are now competing against each other in an unofficial arms race to establish nuclear dominance following Russia's departure from the New START treaty, leaving the U.S. lagging behind in a new state of nuclear instability, experts say.

"What makes this so dangerous is that Xi and Putin are collaborating in new ways to threaten the U.S. alliance architectures, systems of trade and safe and secure commerce – all of which have allowed Americans to be safe, prosperous and free for decades," Rebeccah Heinrichs, a senior fellow with the Hudson Institute and an expert on strategic deterrence, told Fox News Digital.

Russian President Vladimir Putin announced last week the country would suspend participation in the nuclear treaty with the U.S., one day after President Biden's surprise visit to Ukraine. Chinese and Russian diplomats have met since the treaty announcement was made to reaffirm the countries' ties.

"Russia and China are strategic partners in the short term as they are joining forces to challenge the U.S., in order to deter us from interdicting their respective plans to establish dominance in their respective perceived spheres of influence in Eurasia," former Intelligence officer Rebekah Koffler told Fox News Digital. "In the long term, Moscow and Beijing are strategic opponents, hence they’ve been modernizing their nuclear arsenals and doctrines."

China has banned a number of activities that might lead to their male children growing up to be less than manly (long hair, boy band singing, etc.). Then they apparently banned women from modeling lingerie in on-line ads, because that is considered obscene by the Chinese gov't. So what is a business owner to do? You guessed it--they are hiring male models to display female lingerie in the on-line ads. They did not break the law, at least, not until a new law gets written overnight . . .

China has banned women from modeling lingerie on online shopping livestreams — so men are doing it instead

Just when you thought China couldn't get any weirder.

The US does have one distinct advantage over China. China doesn’t know how to start a war!

If you don’t think the CCP is at war with us right now you’re sadly mistaken.

Majorly ignorant comment. China is the most dangerous foe we've gone up against in the world since Nazi Germany. They have developed the weapons technology to evade our missile defense systems and deliver ICBMs over them. They have the cyber and EMP capabilities to shutdown the US financial system and the power grid in the US. They have technologies the world has never seen employed in a war that could be game changers on the battlefield. Countries are the most powerful empire in the world until they aren't. And when they find out they aren't it is usually a rude awakening. China has plans to attack the US if war breaks out. They are planning to destroy us. Now is not the time for ignorance. When generals say we are falling behind to the point where China has the advantage in a war scenario we should listen.

I’m in favor of strengthening our military. AND slashing the budget. I know you fake cons think throwing money at a problem is the only way to solve it.

You cannot sustain the military industrial complex without an enemy to fight. And what better enemy than one that has something like 700 military installations in 70 countries ? Oh wait, that’s us!

Oh, I forgot. Whenever a neighbor of a communist country insists on having their sovereignty respected, that is a declaration of war against the communist country. At least, it is to an ignorant person. Vietnam fought what was essentially a terrorist organization, the Khmer Rouge, that was backed by China. So Vietnam did not attack or invade China, they attacked the Khmer Rouge in Cambodia. So when China responded by invading Vietnam, that was justified in the simple mind of an internet troll? How was China threatened by Vietnam?

    From the wikipedia article:

Bad news: China apparently stole the plans for the top U.S. fighter jet, the F-22. They are modifying their J-20 fighter to be more like the F-22.

We were way, WAYYYYY too trusting of China in the last quarter century (starting with the idiot Bill Clinton). Heads should roll in the DOD as well as the companies that were supposed to safeguard these secrets. We are wasting our time spending billions to develop these weapons systems if the government and private sector are too stupid to spend millions protecting their secrets.

China has stolen US military secrets to create formidable J-20 knockoff of America's F-22 Raptor: experts
