Good points everyone is making. All I know at this point is every time I worry about something in recruiting, something good happens. Recruiting also includes the portal. I’m not worrying about it. I think Coach is well aware of our linebacker situation. I trust he’ll fix it.

I think the way they are gonna have to deal with the LB room is just move that group to a smaller room,....a much smaller room as the total scholarship kids left to play LB you can on your fingers of one hand,.....and I'm not including your thumb. This position grouping #'s are the most shocking on the entire roster to me,...it's the key to the entire defense. How often is the leading tackler on a team not an LB? The defense they are running is a 3-3-5. The depth right now looks ready for a 3-1-7,....and Shemar needs to put on 10-15 good pounds for that to work.

We need a one year QB on defense just like offense.

 

We need at least two in the two deep day one. It may by freshman or portal but they will play.
