Houston got jobbed

Surprised no review. Maybe Houston needed to call a TO to get the review? Also Surprised with Houstons play call on 4th down needing a foot.

 

Terrible spot......especially at that juncture of the game. Officials NEED to ensure they have it right. Rules right now are farked up if that's not reviewable......

 

That said - their 4th down play call sucked......which didn't help matters either.......

 

Big12 refs screwing a team that will still be there next year in favor of SEC bound Texas.

See, those refs need to be forced out tomorrow, and never allowed to return to collegiate sports in any capacity. That kind of cheating, if it's seriously obvious, should result in a zero tolerance cancellation of their jobs.

 

Exactly. Why have reviews and arcane rules that prohibit reviews, especially in late game, crucial scenarios!?! How many times have we seen this? I have way too often.
They can’t claim it slows down the game because they have sped it up this season.
Sometimes, referees make games not fun to watch because they make the game about them.

 

Who forces them out? the big12 obviously gave orders to protect Texas.

This is why Refs should be from a central organization, not controlled at all by conferences.

I get what yer sayin but believe people, some people, can be persuaded $$ regardless. It can’t be honest mistakes at that point, can it?

 

The spot is reviewable. They reviewed a spot in the Alabama Tennessee gamen overturned the spot on the field and gave them a first down.

 

Better get used to this sort of thing. Texas always gets the calls. They make Bama look honest.

If it was spotted right, the shouldn’t have had to run a 4th down. Refs protected Texas.

 

Must have already forgotten last year's Texas Bama game.

 

Agree. That spot of Houston RB was not even close. RB actually ran past first down marker before being pushed back.
