Some of the important points made in the report:

    MSN

The report is 520 pages long and a result of 2 years of work. When it comes to specific lessons from the pandemic, the report points to weaknesses in the Strategic National Stockpile and the US supply chain. It recommends that states have their own stockpiles of emergency medical supplies, which may offer a faster response and be more tailored to local need.

Must have had a weak Executive Branch leader in the years prior to this, to be so unprepared.

As to the supposed lab leak, their conclusion is likely wrong and at odds with leading virologists in the field.

So in the 520 pages whining about masks and shutdowns was there any discussion that over 1 million people died and what could have been done to reduce that?

Documents put out by the House Republicans are no more reliable than propaganda put out by the Chinese communist party.

Yes, that’s what Trump inherited. But since a pandemic rarely happens, kind of difficult for Obama to be prepared either

The Democrats, (and many Pubs), Big Medicine and the MSM sided with everyone and everything that made corrupt actors big money.

Cheap drugs like HCQ and ivermectin were rejected as ways to save lives. An expensive drug, Remedesivir, a horrible drug with a super high lethality rate, was promoted. Nurses called Remdesevir "Run death is near."

Children at low risk from serious Covid harm were vaxxed and masked.

Hospitals gave people dexamethasone for 10 days and moved them to ventilators instead of giving them methylprednisolone (a much better choice) until their lung inflammation abated. If that took 30 days so be it.

Here's what people could not grasp: The Covid "vaccine" was really a gene therapy that made your own body manufacture the most dangerous part of the coronavirus, the spike protein. MAGA got it. Democrats and RINO's couldn't get it.

My strategy was to avoid getting the spike protein from contracting Covid or getting jabbed. Going to a restaurant? Sit outside. Shopping? Do it quickly, wear a mask (so others don't freak out).

Allow me to repeat myself just to show you how lacking in common sense "higher IQ" Democrats are compared to "lower IQ" MAGA folks: In order to avoid dying or getting injured from the coronavirus spike protein, Democrats demanded everyone had to take an untested technology that made your own body manufacture the spike protein for many months, often in excess of a year. They will read this and their minds will enter an altered state making them incapable of comprehending what they did.

    MAGA outthought the Democrats.

Precisely. Trump inherited this inefficient agency in late 2019.

It was very unkind of Obama to refuse to relinquish control of thus for three years.

Fortunately, Trump took charge of covid just in time to tell people to take their anti-malarials, eat horse de-wormer, and shove a UV light up their asses.

Also, this report is totally conflicted. It seems to praise a harmful unnecessary "vaccine", and to relish the approval of a very bad bad man.

I wish Republicans could keep their lies on covid straight....

The administration is also lauded for Operation Warp Speed, the effort to quickly develop a Covid-19 vaccine, which the report calls “an incredible feat of science” that saved millions of lives. The report notes that the operation even received praise from Dr. Anthony Fauci, former director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and a frequent target of the subcommittee.

You sure you didn’t have a stroke 3 weeks ago? Might want to see a doctor.

Ouch, that was a very sharply worded, witty and hurtful insult.

It seems you get personally offended and lash out if someone denigrates the job performance of your Great Daddy. You might want to get your Daddy Complex checked out.

But there's no need to get angry at ME. Your serial lying, adulterous criminal rapist had THREE years to get the government running well. Isn't it his own fault if he didn't? :)

Lab leak theory is just controlled opposition. There never was anything to leak. There was only mass-derangement and crimes against humanity.

    Also from the committee…

Democrats on the subcommittee sharply disagreed with the conclusions and released their own report. The Democrats’ report said Republicans used the subcommittee’s work to amplify “extreme claims against our nation’s scientists,” and undermine trust in the public health system.

“Instead of coming together with Democrats to get ahead of future viruses or fortify America’s public health infrastructure and workforce, Select Subcommittee Republicans prioritized extreme probes that vilified our nation’s scientists and public health officials in an effort to whitewash former President Trump’s disastrous COVID-19 response,” they added.

The Democrats’ report pushed back on and dissected several of these claims, saying the GOP members had failed to “shed meaningful light on the question of the COVID-19 pandemic’s origins.” It blasted the criticisms against Fauci as ranging from “baseless to frivolous.”

House Democrats slam Republican COVID-19 report as 'political stunt'

This is one of your grossest errors EVER. Go back, research this and edit your post.

"Soon after McConnell made his playbook comment, Ronald Klain, the White House Ebola response coordinator from October 2014 to February 2015, tweeted out a link to a document titled “Playbook for Early Response to High-Consequence Emerging Infectious Disease Threats and Biological Incidents.”

"The document, originally unearthed in March by Politico, is a 69-page National Security Council guidebook developed in 2016 with the goal of assisting leaders “in coordinating a complex U.S. Government response to a high-consequence emerging disease threat anywhere in the world.” It outlined questions to ask, who should be asked to get the answers and what key decisions should be made."

"The playbook lists types of infectious disease threats that could emerge. “Novel coronaviruses” were among pathogens flagged as having potential to cause heightened concern.

"They were extensively briefed, to the extent that they paid attention to these things during the transition,” said Jeremy Konyndyk, who directed USAID’s Office of U.S. Foreign Disaster Assistance."

Obama team left pandemic playbook for Trump administration, officials confirm
