    UT wasn't injured early in that season, they just got better as the year went along. They pulled off a great upset and that's exactly what it was. 2000 UF was nowhere near as good as 2001. After 01 we are talking the Zook years which are moot for this comparison. I think 01 Florida was the only team that could have matched them talent for talent. That doesn't mean an automatic W, however, we had the best shot of anyone that season.

    2001 team was one of Spurrier’s best IMHO.
    9/11 took a UT beat down and moved it so FSu could ruin our RB knee.
    Another reason to hate Osama

    My recollection was John Henderson either wasn’t playing early or was hobbled. It’s been over 20 years so not easy to find records anymore but I am seeing he did not play against Arkansas the week before our original game on Sept 8. He was healthy by the end of the season and crushed us.
