I have a BD autographed ball that is not a ball designed for autographs. It was a regular basketball that one might see being used at a college game. My wife was the high bidder at some fund raiser And I got it for Christmas.

My favorite basketballs were always the NBA game balls. They came out of the box broken it. Nice feel and great balance. Just felt like gold in your hands. In pick up games at Florida gym everybody wanted to play with my ball even if I had downs.

And I had a real one. They are not cheap.

Funny story playing The Mullets in an intramural game. They were a team that had a lot or maybe all intramural refs and always got their way and always got to play the game with their ball. They warmed up with it. When we played them they tried the same crap and I said "Let's play with my ball as it is a better one."

We played with their ball anyway.

I believe that I have the same type of ball autographed by Billy. I helped the Athletic Association out with a problem they were having. Sometime later, the ball showed up at my house.

Gator Country apparently does not want anyone to see my balls.

On a serious note, I took a photo of the basketball. I then copied the photo and tried to paste it into my reply. I got a Gator Country message saying the file was too big. I tried the same thing by putting the photo into Notes first and then copying and pasting. Is there a better way to do it?

Same here. I had to use an editing program on the phone to reduce the size.

Billy signed at the top. Go figure, Noah drew something goofy.

Try dropping your shorts and sitting on top of a copier. It usually works for me. Don't forget to enlarge the zoom feature if you need that sort of thing.

Not a basketball, but I have an autographed picture of Billy D signed during a Gator Gathering in Broward County in the Spring, 2002, just as we were starting to get good.

What makes this even more memorable, was that I received word while at the gathering, that my nearly 104 year old grandmother had passed away while my son and I were in attendance at the event. We were literally in line to meet Billy D when the call came.

Growing up in California we went to Disneyland the second year it was open—I was 9-10. We met and got an autographed photo of Spin and Marty and ANNETTE! No idea what happened to it. I blame my my mother who at least had the sense to ask me if she should keep my baseball cards. If you’re under 70 this probably won’t resonate, you poor ones.

I had Sandy Koufax's autograph on a program and my mom threw it out.

Before she died my mom asked if I had the Babe Ruth autographed picture thatt hung in my grandmother's bar in Chicago. That was the first I ever heard of it. That bar was a favorite of pro athletes and they would often trade stuff for drinks. There was a whole trunk full of really old Blackhawks jersies in my grandma's attic. At the end of the seaon they traded them for drinks. I have no idea where they ended up. Having all these athletes at the bar was good for business so giving away some drinks was not a problem as a business model.
