Allow me to explain the concept of nuance to you. Very few things in life are “All or Nothing”. So to answer your questions; No, someone lighting a torch doesn’t make it a riot, but it does cross over the line of violence. It is the queue for all that are really there to peacefully protest to leave. Immediately. No ifs, ands, or buts. But you know this.

So you would give ultimate control of a protest to a single guy lighting a torch? That would be the end of protests as we know them. Do you find that desirable?

Actually, yes I would support the end of protests “as we know them”. “As we know them” is a disgrace to civility.

You actually think furries are a real thing? Lol, god bless your little heart. You can’t be that ignorant. There is absolutely no proof of this being a thing, but per usual, the right just runs with any idiotic rumor they hear. Gotta love how the internet makes people delusional.

Man, I miss the good ol days when I was younger. A Furry was simply two people that enjoyed having consensual sex while wearing animal costumes. What has this world come to?!?

That's a weird sentence. You support civility disgrace?

The vast majority of protests are peaceful (> 90%). It's a gross generalization to say otherwise because of the violent ones.

Yep, it’s me that the idiot. I’m the one decriminalizing drugs and promoting bad behavior. I’m the guy who wants children changing gender based on how they feel on a bad day. I’m the one who wants to raise taxes sky high to run biz out of town. You ought to take another look at your party. It ain’t your fathers democrat party.
And lucky for you, cons are still here to help save the country by stabilizing it from extreme progressives who show their seething hate for traditional white families.

Ah, so it's all about nuance and not 'all or nothing.' But one guy among thousands lighting a torch means it's no longer a peaceful protest and that everyone should immediately leave.
But that's not all or nothing.

Not everyone, as certainly many were not at those “protests” in 2020 to be peaceful. Those that wanted to be peaceful though did need to immediately leave.

One of the reasons why right wing extremists were engaging in violence under the cover of peaceful protests.

It'd certainly be easy to end every and any protest you didn't like if everyone followed Aging's scenario.

So basically your point was you have no proof of furries actually existing but great job changing the topic. Hilarious that a party filled with Matt Gaetz, Marjorie Taylor Green, and Lauren Boebert while also having morons like Kari Lake, Herschel Walker, and Dr. Oz running for a seat, among so many others, is calling the other side extreme. Kettle, meet pot.

My point is as farsical as furries sound, it doesn’t surprise me one bit that it’s a thing.
It’s also no secret that politics attracts some strange personalities.

Shows how far out of touch you are with 45% of the population. No surprise coming from an extreme libbie. Sigh.

Well your edit makes more sense given your leanings.

It's been my experience that the majority of Americans who bitch about civil disobedience are the ones that have it made. The ones that are not disenfranchised in any meaningful way. You know, old white guys.

Nah, 45% of the population doesn't take the time to understand why decriminalizing drugs, having supervised illegal drug injection sites etc are forms of harm reduction that actually have impact vs your idea of stupid wars on drugs. That same 45% doesn't want to take the time to understand gender dysphoria, but rather you'd make up stories of how all "libbie" parents are forcing their kids to transition before the age of 7.

Also, no one has seething hate for traditional white families, people just want them to have some awareness of history and the power structures that still exist in their favor from colonization.

Because at least half the country is busy being the adults. The libbies bleeding hearts worry over any possibility of a disenfranchised person, no matter how remote they may be, and cannot see the big picture.
Most libbie concerns are not practical concerns for the masses.

To see the big picture, you have to see the little things -- which you clearly refuse to acknowledge. I hope one day for you, and if you have them, your kids sake -- you stop being such a one dimensional thinker.
