Nothing new. Just the same painful truth stating you in the face. You can split hairs, parse words, and call people all of the “ists” that you usually do, and claim that 90% of the protests were peaceful. Doesn’t change the fact that the democrats were ambivalent towards/supportive of the riots. You made the stew, now you need to eat it.
Sure, continue to dig in when you have been proven wrong multiple times because you would prefer to have not been wrong. That is an option.
I’m not the one digging. Drink the koolaid. Vote Dem. It’s up to you. Enjoy whatever they have in store for you in the future. If you want to deny the shitshow that they have created in just two years, then don’t lift your head out of the sand.
Actually, yeah you are. As a reminder, your initial claim was that Democrats didn't condemn the violence. Then, when it was shown that they had, you claimed that Biden hadn't done it until September. Then, upon reading one paragraph further, it was shown that he had condemned any violence in May. Then, it didn't matter if he condemns it, because his condemnation doesn't count, for some reason. Now, it is about not liking their policies for the last two years. We get it, you don't like Democrats. That doesn't make your claims any more true.
I'm really trying to figure this out. You made a claim about Democratic leaders and the violence of 2020. Proof is posted that Biden did speak out against it. And you just keep claiming it didn't happen?Fact check: Democrats have condemned violence linked to protests
Good grief. Maybe you need to read something here other than just the conservative posts. Yes, Aging claimed Biden didn't say anything until for 3 or 4 months after the protests/riots started. But it was quickly pointed out that Biden started criticizing violence within days of it starting. And he continued.
Yes, it happened here. Or, at least that what numerous local FB posts said here in this deeply red dinky little town. They rallied the mad moms, good Christians and patriot dads to go holler at school officials. It took the Superintendent of schools making numerous official statements on different media to stop the red-faced screamers at board meetings. Can’t believe anyone fell for that. But they did.
If libbies put as much effort into caring about keeping families together as they do about ridiculing cons, the world would improve greatly.
And if so called conservatives are presumably concerned about keeping families together why do they oppose assistance for low-income households? Republicans, so called party of family values, do not support needy families
Needy families should take they ass to church. They will be taken care of. No more govt programs please.
If connies spent as much time working on their own marriages instead of telling other people how to live and whom to love, the divorce rates in red states would be dramatically reduced.
How do we know if it’s not libbies who reside in red states aren’t the ones divorcing at higher rates?
And if churches aren't adequate they could always beg for alms on the street. And then there's always the alternative of Dickensian workhouses.
Obviously the middle ground is where the answer lies. Churches should be caring for those less fortunate. So should government. Temporarily while they get back on their feet.
The govt already has many programs to help the needy. I bet the libbies in here can’t name all the programs to help the poor.
I along with Biden supported the protests. I along with Biden were against the riots. You are equating support of demonstrations to support for riots. Try a little harder.
Why not? Why the objection among those who are working to establish a government based on what they believe to be Christian principles? The obligation to help the poor and the needy and relieve their suffering is iterated many times in the Bible and are cardinal mitzvot, or commandments, of Judaism. The accounts in the first 5 books of the Bible indicate they were established before the land of Israel was settled by the remnants of the 12 tribes who fled Egypt and wandered the desert for 40 years. The established government was a theocracy and the people were guided and governed by Moses, then subsequently by judges and prophets acting on those decrees. Though Israel later became a monarchy, the king was supposed to uphold the established religious covenants. Dispensing charity was a large part of the established covenant. The charity churches are known to dispense to one degree or another is a voluntary continuation of charitable practices established and required by Jewish laws and precepts in ancient times. You can find them listed in Leviticus 19:9 - 10; Deuteronomy 14:28; 15:7 and 11; 24:19 The Hebrew word for charity is tzedakah. This same word also means, justice & righteousness.
