So you think her saying it's irresponsible and selfish that he's ignoring her phone calls? Come on man. Just admit she got caught playing politics and move on.

How many times do you want me to say she shouldn't have responded at all?

You're always on here carrying water for the convicted felon rapist.

And I made it all pretty clear; KHarris did or said something about a (unanswered) phone call that nobody on either side really even cares about. Wow. BFD. But you're enraged by this and have launched into your usual lock-on with whoever has enough time to waste to engage you.

But you apparently couldn't care the slightest bit less about the rapey felon who is touring areas of destruction (and hosting rallies) in order to tell absolute racist and destructive lies about immigrants and lie about FEMA and political opponents.

What we choose to be outraged about speaks volumes about us. Negative volumes about you, based upon your posting.

Ok Skippy. Gotta be honest, I don't read the drivel you write. I usually just laugh and move on. You are a bot. It's ok, I know that now. Will treat you accordingly.

    LOL, sure thing sport.

Nobody reads your drivel, junior. They just laugh at you. Occasionally someone finds your posts so laughable that they take the time to correct and/or mock you. Usually mock. Then you flex up your fragile little ego and give the whole board a laugh.

    Now go get your shinebox.

So how do you feel about the DeSantis administration making it known that they had refused to take Harris's call in the first place?

Did he make it aware or was he responding to question? I could be wrong but I think the first time he responded was to a question bringing the missed call up at a press conference.

The sequence of events is that someone in the DeSantis admin told NBC that they weren't taking Kamala's calls, which NBC then reported. Then Kamala was asked about it and that's when she accused DeSantis of playing politics. Then DeSantis talked about it on Hannity that night.

Without proof I'll just assume you are making up stuff again. Harris got caught playing politics. Oops.

Principals do not call other principals without any coordination. If Harris' team tried to call DeSantis without any prior arrangement among their staffs, I'd would not expect him to take the call. Same as I would not expect Biden/Harris to take a call if DeSantis tried to call them without any prior arrangements. The people have multiple aides that are all managing their schedule/calendar to make sure that if DeSantis needs to get on a call with Harris/Biden, they can find a time where they both have an opening to do the call. You cannot expect a governor to interrupt a emergency management prep meeting to take an unscheduled call from Harris, just as you cannot expect Biden to leave the situation room in the middle of a brief to have an unscheduled call with DeSantis.

    Here is the original report:
Ron DeSantis is refusing to take Harris' call on Hurricane Helene

Harris never actually tried to call DeSantis. Their aides were not able to work out what the call was to be about. It sounds like when Harris' team called, DeSantis team asked them what the call talking points would be on Harris' end. That is very basic level staff work expected for principal to principal calls. According to that report, it sounds like the DeSantis team did not like whatever the talking points were from the Harris team and decided to do some "mediocre staff work" and "forget" to tell the boss about the request to schedule a call. I'm guessing the DeSantis team thought it was more about getting Harris some credit for doing Emergency Management she could tout on the campaign trail rather than about getting additional FEMA help. DeSantis staff wanted to avoid being involved in that as it could be seen as a Christie-Obama Hurricane Sandy gift to the Democratic candidate, so they "forgot" to tell their principal about it. That way DeSantis could say he was unaware of it and point out that the VPOTUS does not have any role in federal relief efforts and if he needs them, he has a direct line to the POTUS.
