Most of the Smokey National State Park in Tenn reopened today. 441 is back up and running which is the main thoroughfare. Most trails and campsites are open.

 

They gave $700 to Hawaii wild fire victims. Harrisflation turned that into $750 for Helene victims. American citizens are of the lowest priorties for Harris/Biden.

 

Given your limitations, this might be overly optimistic, but you do realize those two statements address different issues and are not inconsistent, don't you?

So first, if that is true, it is horrible. But it really doesn't sound true at all. Note that he never shows where he is, it is always his phone pointing up to his face and the trees around him. Second, the tweet is from one of the most horrible disinformation spreaders I've run across on Twitter. Amazingly, I'm familiar with that account, because my feed was filled with his anti-Dem tweets as if he was the most important guy on the earth ... or Elon is boosting him for some reason.

Second, here is a guy, who does appear to actually be on the ground, who is actually tweeting from his own account, who says it is just a big fat lie, and that he has never seen so many helicopters.

Finally, the idea that FEMA and the National Guard aren't using helicopters to do search and rescue is just so LUDICROUS it just isn't believable at face value. FEMA is battle tested, and a professional agency. They know what they are doing, and would not be so stupid as to not be getting choppers in the area as fast as possible.

The Pubs are really trying hard to make it look like the Biden administration is letting down NC and other states. In reality, the same complainers just voted against additional funding for FEMA for what is likely going to be one of the most expensive hurricanes ever, and are refusing to come back from their vacations to vote on new funding now that the extent of the damage is clear.

As usual, they and the disinformation bots have no problem taking advantage of a disaster to try and get a political advantage.

It is sickening.

 

Don't take about the other side's morality when you plan on pulling the lever for a repeated rapist.

 

This isn't reassuring if true. My cousins are in the area and have made the same comments. You would think with all our capability to move war material around the world in hours, we can mobilize, organize and get shit done. Disgusting.

Fema works in concert with local agencies via the ICS process that include area command/ unified command and county EOC centers. These responses are massive and complex and these ridiculous conspiracies are absurd if you have any experience working in this system. Logistical errors, inefficiencies and complications happen due to the inexperience of some of the surrounding agencies that mobilize during catastrophes but boiling it down to money and power schemes is bs divisive wacko garbage.
