I’m surprised, and pleased, Trump didn’t try and “fake news” the story. I can live with a “he made a mistake and will learn from it” comment. It could’ve been worse, but it wasn’t. (Sure, it disclosed that JD Vance and Hegseth admit that they loathe our European allies, but by now everyone knows that).

Nope. I haven’t seen any confirmation that a government issued phone was used versus a personal phone. It that it makes it better since personal phones should not be used to conduct official business
