    Of the two teams worse than us, both had some special circumstances. Miss State had Mike Leach pass away after the normal hiring season which meant they could only get a nobody to take the job. Arkansas had the Bobby Petrino motorcycle incident which lead to the 1-year tenure of John L. Smith to keep things running until they could do a real search.

    We're somehow part Tennessee where we have had a lot of very short run coaches but also part Auburn where most of our coaches experience some level of pretty good success, even if fleeting.
