I have stated before that I like Billy Napier, I hope he is our Coach for a long, long time but I think everyone would agree that at the very least he was/is on a "warm if not hot seat" this year. Do you think with the recent recruiting successes and having a QB of the future in DJ that he might have bought himself some grace if this year ends up being a rough year.

I think it will turn one way or another by the end of October. Wins and losses are one thing but if we keep seeing boneheaded plays like not enough players (or too many) and dumb penalties, then it turns hot. Even if we don't have a winning season or break even but we look really competitive in the big games I think he survives for one more year. Then all bets are off.

I understand people's view on our head football coach, but who said Napier's seat is hot? That is one of these most overused description other coaches use to denigrate the Gators' recruiting efforts. He has some ways to go to get back into many people's good graces, but right now tot set talk only serves the haters from other schools and those sports "pimps" that need you to click onto their hate sites... as they love to hate on the Gators.

Now am I happy about the last 2 years, no. Di I think Napier will have a winning record this year? I do think he will even though the SEC schedule makers are trying their evil best not to let that happen.

I have o time to consider this CRAP in the middle of important recruiting going on. It only serves to diminish Napier's efforts to get better talent to come to Gainesville. It really serve no positive purpose with now to even start a thread like this at this point in time of the recruiting season.

I'm too excited for our ridiculously difficult season coming up to even think about such things.

Ask this question again after a few games...

No. He can win the off season all he wants. He still needs to get W's on the field. I like what he's doing, but another losing season is going to make it rough.

The vast majority of fans don't pay attention until game day. And they get angry after a couple of mediocre seasons.

Admin and boosters like what he's doing for now.
