Dr. Swain would be well served to stop posting until she learns the actual facts, not the crap posted by @gatormonk 's "source."

Yep, this is what happens when you have people, who obviously don't understand the meaning of a word like "plagiarism," making accusations. That makes two of her "victims" call this story BS.

"Professor Gary King, a leading Harvard political scientist and one of Gay’s dissertation advisers whom she is also accused of plagiarizing, called the allegations, “false and absurd.”

Dueling letters, ‘academic integrity’ claims add to furor over Harvard President Claudine Gay as key board meets - The Boston Globe

He is a board member with juice at New College of FL, yet despite his academic credentials does not know what plagiarism is.

He must also be a podcaster

That's a great defense. "Officer, those other 6 people were speeding, too."

not sure if this was true or not but her opinion to me is worthless after what she said. If you were to change the race from jewish to black there is no doubt that they'd come down hard on this but it seems like upper education has no issue with supporting terrorists and being Nazis.

Whoops. "Posted on a few" vs "posted a few" is different.

For all of Rufo's concerns over what is a permissible in quoting or using the words of another in one's own writing, his own colloquial use of get in the last sentence of his article slamming Claudine Gay was a poor choice.

In the last sentence of his supposed expose' Rufo wrote, "If she has violated the code of academic conduct, she must resign—or get voted out by the board."

In this article slamming her failure to clearly attribute the source of the passage by its lack of quotation marks, labeling that lack plagiarism - he affirmed standards he failed to use in his own writing. Better he should have written, 'If she has violated the code of academic conduct, she must resign—or be voted out by the board.'

    Is Claudine Gay a Plagiarist?

I doubt it was intentional. Editors are supposed to catch and correct errors like this.
