You are much closer to what I was implying. I am not at all upset that some elitist university must cover for their own. Typical. I do find it somewhat comical that, just because that is not my or many other posters expertise that we are incapable of reading someone's writings and then reading someone else's and can't comprehend the "nuanced" difference. Whether its egregious plagiarism or not, correct that is not for me to judge. But when you are the President of probably the most prestigious university in this country if not world, I would think the academic standard should just be a little higher than Santa Fe Community College. Just my opinion!!

Looks like those defending the Harvard Pres saying she didn't commit plagiarism need to eat some crow.

She didn't commit plagiarism. I suspect that the statement will not mention that for this reason. She will maintain her tenured position at Harvard, which is not what would happen if she was found to have committed plagiarism.

No, she resigned the Presidency (she did not resign her position at the University) because some donors are mad about her answers to the House. Same reason the UPenn President resigned. Presidents are fundraisers and PR people.

According to the NY Post story, she was hit with 6 more plagiarism allegations on Monday, Jan 1, 2023. (That is the date the article has but I would bet it was yesterday 1/1/2024 since she wasn't President on Jan. 1 last year and Jan 1 last year was on a Sunday.)

Sure. She actually didn't resign when the donors were mad about her answers to the House. She resigned because of the plagiarism issues as well as her idiotic answers to the House. But you keep thinking she didn't do anything wrong LOL.

Again, you will not admit you were wrong. If she was getting fired/resigning because of the House testimony, it would've happened a while ago. This is a combo of the plagiarism and House testimony causing her to be out of the Presidency. But you keep thinking that has nothing to do with it LOL.

so, are you saying she is under fire because of her race and gender, and the plagarism is just a convenient excuse?

LOL. So she only resigned because of her House testimony? That's your answer? What changed from the time of her testimony that the Harvard Board stood by her "in this tumultuous and difficult time, we unanimously stand in support of President Gay." ?
