Harris/Walz complicit on crime

So this same man that said this about sending help from the National Guard is also telling people that we should not have the right to own a AR15 rifle to protect our homes and families.

Walz would go on to agree he got an informal, verbal request from Mayor Frey late Wednesday, May 27, before the mayor submitted a formal, written request on the morning of Thursday, May 28. The governor maintained it took time to deploy citizen soldiers and a brand new mission with little advance notice. "The average person maybe assumes that there’s soldiers waiting in helicopters to drop in like they do in movies," Walz told reporters in 2020. "Actually, they’re band teachers and small business owners. They’re folks working in a garage in Fergus Falls who get a call that says you’ve got 12 hours to report to your armory."

 

I do realize it takes time but I am sure at the same time you realize there are mechanisms on place for rapid deployment in cases of state natural disasters or civil unrest. You also continue to struggle with the timeline in that George Floyd died on May 25 and the unrest started almost immediately and by the next day, the violence erupted in earnest. But yet, the National Guard was not called in until May 28. Why the 48 hour gap?

And you also have to question a guy who isn’t shy to tell people that he served in the National Guard for 24 years but then makes the comments he did regarding the effectiveness for even calling the Guard in. Used the terms of “band teachers, mechanics and cooks” and almost seemed to be making the assumption that the Guard would have been of no avail even if deployed earlier. I mean, a so called “command sergeant major” didn’t trust that the Guard would be able to do the job that apparently he was personally in charge of training them to do?

A major fail and complete lack of leadership by Tim Walz.

 

Donald Trump let the Capital get taken by insurrectionists.... but yea lets talk about Walz excellent leadership in a crisis. This is as bad as a draft dodger wanting to talk about Walz 24 year service record. LOL No wonder Trump is losing. What's next? Infidelity attacks? Give me a break.

 

To me the family doing this is a big problem, as it incited the property destruction. It’s criminal. Walz has to answer for that.

This all sounds pretty clear to me. At least Harris picked someone who was consistent with her own beliefs. Say what you will about Trump, but if Harris is elected, there will be more destruction of our cities anytime something goes awry with the police. Social unrest will become an American pastime.

No, unlike you I don’t have blinders on. Trump completely mishandled the January 6 response. I am also not a Trump fan and if the Democrats had nominated a moderate, I would have voted that way. But there is no way that I can vote for a far left liberal ticket of Harris/Walz.

Moving on, I assume you are a Democrat and if so, I assure you will be okay if you criticize Harris and/or Walz. And believe me, like Trump, there is plenty to be critical of.

Harris and Walz have issues, I would prefer a fiscally responsible Pro-Military R. But the other option is someone who tried ending democracy and maga seems ok with that.

Not me. The Dem ticket isn't perfect, but there is a reason trump lost the military vote in 2020, and that was before the insurrection.

Wasn't Donald Trump in the White House when the social unrest resulting from the killing of George Floyd occurred? Seems that if the President is responsible for social unrest the former reality television star and failed real estate investor should receive a lot of blame.

 

Harris and Walz aren’t far left at all, especially Harris, lol. Don’t let Fox News propaganda spread lies - this isn’t a Bernie Sanders ticket we’re talking here. They have a good amount of progressive ideology without going overboard. I also don’t see why so many are opposed to “far left” ideas. You want to stay stagnant with no plan for the future? Have at it, hoss. I’ll take the ticket that has a vision for our country and takes things like climate change seriously and that isn’t trying to turn America into a version of the Handmaid’s Tale.
