I would guess that anyone breaking in Kamala's, or Trump's, house at this point is getting shot.

She must be inspired by the gun-loving righties who keep shooting at Trump

It’s the visual. I mean, can you picture her shooting? I did when that comment was made, and my visual made me r wrong, the visual to me was comical.

I’ve seen a lot of women shoot better than men with pistols and rifles. I had a female friend who would kick my ass at the range and when we did foreign military weapons qualifications events with allies. She didn’t have any “look” to her that would make you think she was a good shot. I guess I don’t have those assumptions, because I’ve seen a lot of guys who look like they can shoot who can’t shoot. I don’t have any preconceived notions when it comes to shooting.

You are 100% correct. But the specific image of Kamala, with her public persona (and her riotous laughter—which I find to be a positive), grabbing a gun and shooting it, is visually comical to me. But make no mistake, your female friend would out-shoot me, too.

As a GM I can attest to this. Some of my best shooters were women. You'd be shocked and appauled at how bad people can be though, especially in the Navy. When I was in we didn't even shoot real pistols in bootcamp, it was like a laser tag system. So most of the time it was their first experience with live guns when they went to qualify for their guns (mainly for gun watches so they didn't have to clean spaces or even worse, head duty). Its wild to give your instructions, show them how to handle the gun and either 1. the target looks like someone took a handful of rounds and threw it or 2. turn around because their thumb was bleeding since they had their thumb up or was somehow in the way of the slide.

Even our MP's and shipboard security team weren't great. Luckily we have CWIS to obliderate everything the 50s dont get. :)

I hear you, but I’ve seen people of all personalities and appearances shoot weapons. None of that matters when they shoot, so I guess I can’t really process the connection in my mind that it would be comical for her to shoot a weapon. It’s always the ones you don’t expect

This is true. Years ago, my 15 year old nice challenged me at my brother’s shooting range on his farm. I took my time, did the things I was supposed to do, and shot. Not bad, either. She walked up, took the rifle, and within 3 seconds shot and destroyed me. Strangely, though, nobody was surprised and it wasn’t because she was so good.

You mean the guns that the Dems are so intently trying to take from the citizenry? Those guns?

Ironic... Take a bow for the irony is the Dems messaging.

I think I like a lot of libertarian positions at the national level, but often their candidates just seem crazy, pushing for things like hoarding gold. This cycle, I learned there is a divide within the party where the more traditional liberals are battling a newer contingent called the Mises wing, who seem focused on issues like transgenders. Their current candidate, Chase Oliver, is more of a classical liberal, and I’ve liked the little I’ve seen of him so far. He is for gay rights, legalizing recreational drugs, decriminalizing abortion, and wants a path to citizenship.

I agree with you about needing a viable third party, but I think we will only get one if we voters show the willingness to vote for one. Anyway, Oliver might be worth checking out.

Good for her. It's well within her rights as a US citizen. I would do the same.

They screwed up in Tenn and didn't submit enough legit signatures to get on the ballot, not that it matters here much. It would go a long way to get enough of the popular vote to be on every ballot without petitioning.

I'll have to write in a vote for him.
