Which explains the donations to Trump's campaign. On the other hand maybe the megadonors to the former president's campaign know exactly what they're doing given that he's the best politician that money can buy and if he is elected they will receive a nice return on their investment in his campaign. Some examples, he reversed his position on TikTok originally calling for banning the platform until a large investor in its parent company donated to Trump's campaign and now he is fine with the platform; he called crypto currencies a scam (correctly I believe) and since receiving large contributions from techbros who are really into crypto suddenly became a supporter of cryptocurrency and did close to a 180 pivot on EVs. He continuously railed against them and now supports them since he became buddies with Elon Musk.

Why do MAGAs think this is relevant in any way? A convention is essentially a ticketed event with limited entry. Delegates are the attendees. Media (with valid credentials) are also invited. He doesn't have a valid "ticket" ("ticket"=his name on the entry list) to get in one way or the other.
