Harassment of public officials rears its ugly head

I don't know but imagine Supreme Court Justices don't walk around without security. If I were a member of Congress (particularly a famous one), I'd want at least one security detail but I'm sure that's too expensive for many of them. Seems like Crenshaw had one when he was recently circled and yelled at during whatever event that was. Others may use bikers or Proud Boys, but I'm not sure if those guys are paid or not.

I think there is a federal law to protect members of Congress so protesters are taking a risk if they cross that line. I recall a young lady throwing her slushy at Matt Gaetz and some of it hit him. My recollection is that he showed up in Federal Court arguing for the book to be thrown at her, and she got locked up for 15 days. I didn't really blame him for pressing the issue.

This thread goes to more than one page because he loves arguing and so do other people. Here's the thing about 'hypocrisy,' the person making the charge is the only one that hasn't reconciled the supposed hypocrisy, its always about them. Its probably about 70% of the threads here, trying to call people out on some kind of inconsistency.

You could be right on many posters. But I recall 715 on the kavanaugh thread saying if you accept this, then you better get ready when it happens to the libbies.
Where is @jjgator55 poster on this? He seemed to love the justice being stalked and harassed.
