We used to enjoy the local fireworks show. Now that we have a dog, it's a sacrifice we are willing to make. Happy 4th everyone!
My dog hates the fireworks so I drug him and put him in a quiet area down stairs with noise maker, helps a little. Kids in the neighborhood love them so that's cool. With the serious lack of rain in ATL this past month, I was concerned about fires but everything worked out.
If you haven't done the show in recent years, make sure you have a very early plan to park unless you're going by boat or staying out there Friday night. Stay safe.
Thanks, but at my age, I've given up on the beach show leaving it for the younger and healthier people. Now that NAS Pensacola is open to the public again through the back gate, I may go the final show of the season in November. Hopefully, the Navy will open the front and back gate for the show. It has also been fun taking my granddaughter to the Naval Aviation Museum which was reopened to the public in 2023.
Yeah, sounds like you probably already know, but they're flying with the Thunderbirds on the last show - November 1 & 2.
