If proven and true I think doing to them what they did to a defenseless child would be in order not as punishment but as retribution for the baby.

A little off topic but when my middle son was 3 or 4 he was a little dare devil and had no fear of anything. You couldn't take your eye off him for a minute or he would be getting himself into a dangerous situation. After a few weekly visits to the ER for stitches or broken bones we started to worry someone would think we were abusing him.

I'll never forget the time my best friend offered to baby sit the kids while me and the wife went out to celebrate. We got home to find Chris with a knot the size of a grapefruit on his forehead. Seems they were watching a stunt man movie and Chris pulled the bean bag chair into the kitchen, climbed up on the refrigerator and did a swan dive. He missed the bean bag. My best friend said him and his wife were never having kids.

Government shouldn't be in the retribution business, no matter how bad the crime. Put them in prison.

If the accusation is accurate they should be punished to the max. On the other hand the possibility that the fractures were attributable to Osteogensis Imperfecta
should be ruled out first. Law enforcement and even medical professionals unfamiliar with the condition are not infallible.

Lock 'em under their respective jails, and throw away the keys.

That's a damning indictment of our legal and prison system.

Terrible story. But if you told me it happened in Florida, Baker County would have been my first guess.

I know I shouldn’t be, but I’m still amazed at the depravity and lack of humanity that some people are capable of.

3 aquaintenance's of mine who work or have worked in the FDC, all say the same thing, "prisoners run the prison", guards just help clean up the mess.

They simply revert to a distant evolutionary past. Like when they were reptiles. (The "reptilian brain" is the oldest part of the human brain.)

Perhaps the parents should have been introduced to a 147 gr jacketed hollow point.

Try them and if found guilty, throw them in prison and throw away the keys.
