I'm very capable. I just choose to realize there are racists and antisemites in the world, and SOME of those people are on our forums. You keep thinking it's just the right that is racist. Anyone blaming Israel for the murdering of the hostages is 100% either an idiot or an antisemite. No middle ground on this one. Either you believe the terrorist propaganda and are thus an idiot or you hate Israel.

I'm glad to see that you've doubled the number of arguments you have in your toolbox for those that question Netanyahu.

They can now be antisemites OR idiots.

Still not compelling, but it's something I guess.

A good portion of the people of Israel disagree with you.

Many Israelis blame Netanyahu for the mounting number of dead hostages and are calling for a cease-fire agreement to free the remaining roughly 100 captives — even if that means ending the conflict. Sunday’s demonstrations were the largest show of support for a hostage deal since Oct. 7, when Hamas-led militants stormed into Israel and kidnapped 250 people.
Do you consider Jews, who live in Israel, protesting Netanyahu to be antisemites?

Again, many Israelis are waking up realizing the war isn't winnable. If it were, Israel would have won a long time ago. At this point, just what are they fighting for? Better to negotiate and save the lives of the hostages.

Then they are idiots for thinking this is on Israel. This is 100% a terrorist issue. No other way to say it. And since when is a poll the end all for any discussion?

So you're saying Israelis are idiots.

    That sounds antisemetic.

But are they antisemetic? Because according to you, all those who think Israel doesn't have some accountability in the hostages' deaths are antisemitic!

And these people aren't idiots. They are residents of the country at war with Hamas. Their opinions should count, especially since they will be responsible for whether or not Netanyahu gets reelected in 2026.

Also, holding contradictory positions to your own doesn't make one an idiot. If that's the only retort you have with someone who disagrees with your position, then maybe you need to look in the mirror when calling anyone an idiot? The reality is, Israelis have been living in a perpetual state of war with Palestinian terror groups from the PLO to Hamas for decades. Hearing air raid sirens and heading to a shelter is an all-to common occurrence, unfortunately. There have been some longer times between rockets, but they have never truly stopped falling.

So what has changed now? If Israel couldn't defeat the terrorists before to the point of declaring victory and ending the threat, why can they now accomplish this? The answer is, Israel can't. It's wash, rinse, repeat with Israel bombs and Palestinian rockets. So, what's the point of continued bombing?

More and more Israelis, who again, live and vote for Israeli PM, are realizing the continued war is fruitless at this point. There is nothing to be gained, and no end game where Hamas is completely defeated. With this understanding, they would like their friends and family who were taken hostage back home and safe. Because the longer the war drags on, the less likely any hostages will ever be returned. This line of thinking doesn't make one an idiot. There's logic and history behind it.

Anyone thinking that Israel is to blame for the hostages being executed is an idiot. But good try.

You do know that just writing something down doesn't make it true, right? At a minimum it takes some reason and logic to prove a point.

Do you have either of those?

If someone takes hostages at a bank, and the police throw a grenade in the lobby killing the hostage taker and hostages, shouldn't the police share some blame? Sure, the hostage taker is at fault but the police clearly took action that resulted in the deaths of the hostages.

If 95 had logic and reason, he'd reply to my post explaining the logic and reason why the majority of Israelis are now again Netanyahu. But he can't, so he won't. And the only argument he has is if you disagree with him, you are an idiot. Real deep!

Logic says to not trust the terrorists who literally hide behind women and children and use those same people as human shields. Reason says to not trust a group of people who's only goal is the extermination of a race of people. You keep believing the terrorists. I'll side with the non-terrorists, thanks.

I don't believe there is a poster here that is having their opinions on this conflict swayed by anything Hamas leadership is saying. Nor do I believe there to be a poster here that supports Hamas tactics.

If your understanding of this conflict comes down to some type of battle between good v evil, I think you need to understand historical context better.

You are wrong. We have numerous posters spouting off Hamas's death toll numbers like they are Gospel in the 10/7 thread. Anyone believing anything coming out of the terrorists mouths is at best ignorant. The fact posters are repeating those numbers is telling.

No reason to trust the terrorists. At the same time, if there truly a military solution to beating them? And if that answer is yes, then why hasn't Israel found the solution yet, even though they've been fighting terrorists for the better part of 60 years?

At what point does the bombing of Hamas actually stop accomplishing anything except creating new recruits for Hamas? Meaning the cycle will continue. And once you reach this point, which Israel likely did months ago, shouldn't the focus be on getting as many hostages back alive as possible?

This is how the majority of Israelis now think. The bombing isn't doing anything to stop Hamas. It's only perpetuating their existence. So unless Israel is willing to commit true genocide, the issue isn't going away. Meanwhile, because Israel has decided to continue the onslaught, hostages died as a result. The hostages were killed by Hamas, who are terrorists who deserve most of the blame. But Israel and Netanyahu isn't 100% clean either.

So no response to the Israeli citizens line of thought that is blaming Netanyahu? Again, their logic is this. The current iteration of the war has dragged on now for 11 months. But it's the same war Israel has been fighting for the better part of 60 years without a true victory. A victory that isn't going to happen this time either. So why continue the cycle? What's the end game? Especially since the more Hamas you kill today, the more Hamas can recruit from the Palestinian population.

Why not then, negotiate for the release of the hostages? At least they would then be alive, and back home. If the war isn't going to end, why not cease fire for a bit and enjoy what little peace it brings?

Again, 60% of Israelis are unhappy with Netanyahu, and the protests against him are only getting bigger. These Israeli citizens aren't idiots, and they certainly aren't anti-semetic. But that's all the argument you seem to be able to muster against them.

95s refusal to answer speaks volumes. There is a logic and rationale why 60% of Israelis are against Netayahu and continuing the war. All 95 can do is call them idiots, because he can't make a cogent counter argument.

Polls can be corrupt. I doubt 60% of the Israeli people think Israel should surrender to Hamas, including your own family.
