Hampered by the loss of Colin Castleton, the 14-13 (7-7) Gators host the 18-9 (9-5) Kentucky Wildcats on Wednesday, Feb 22 at 7:00pm. The game will be broadcast on ESPN.

Pick the score, the MVG, and the SoG, which will be Tshiebwe offensive rebounds. Can the Gators limit him from camping out in the paint and putting back nearly every UK miss?

    My pick:
    Gators 62
    Wildcats 75
    Mvg Kugel
    SoG: 6

Cats got the big one against UT in Lexington.

Think UF will play hard and keep it close for about 30 - 35 minutes.
Oscar is way too much for any of our current players inside.
A victory to me is keeping it under double digits.

    UK 72
    UF 65
    MVG: Fudge
    SoG 6

Our centers, whoever CTG gives minutes to, better bring an aggressive A game, or this could be another butt whupping! JJ stay and bump him out away from the basket, Alek, hit your three chances and bump Oscar hard, CJ, if you get in there give up your body and go after Oscar hard. Fudge we need Back side help. Guards just don’t give up uncontested threes all night, this is our house, act like it. CTG you better ride the refs because you better believe they will listen to Calipara all night. If you just ask them kindly to be fair, they will just laugh. This is a conference that is aggressive and physical. Be sure when any, I mean any bad call go against us, you better be mad and in their face. Our past coach was a administrator and didn’t argue hardly any calls, our program took the hits from him learning on the job. You might need a therapist to help you get their attention! Your team needs a little of that aggression also when anyone throws up a forced three, our brand just like CMW teams! Enough already, share the ball till we get good shots!

Tshiebwe has lost his way this season. Apart from being dominated by CC, Will also has his way with him on mismatches. He will be a a factor on the boards for sure, but nothing that this team cannot overcome.

I hope UF wins because of a horrible call by the referees in our favor. Maybe a critical technical foul on Calipari late in the game seals the deal for us....or a last second shot that clearly shouldn't have been counted...something like that. In short, I want to see UK get royally screwed.

Yehaw up here in Nashville! The Gator Boyz played very competitive. I think Neil’s Lane should start over Jones. He plays defense with wild quick suffocating defense. On offense he is so quick and has hops, that he can get inside and score. Our bigs played determined not to get run over and delivered some licks too. I like this. If Alek can start finding his shot on a regular basis it will open it up for a lot of drives, think Kugel and Lane with Lofton cleaning up also. Jitiboh needs to keep shooting straight in short shots and get them consistent, I believe he hit a couple. kowacie was driving in tonight and finishing which helped the team which was great, we even hit a handful of threes. Overall, I wish it wasn’t so late in the season but we have time to keep improving using Lane, Alex and Aberdeen in the upcoming games. All three of these guys have good height and bodies to keep players in front of them and make steals. I love CTG giving them good minutes, we need them to keep working hard on their offense within the concepts Coach has instilled. We can play with anybody when the bench is as good or better than the starters. let’s pay back Vanderbilt in Nashville!
