Agree! I try not to take football too seriously and take great pride in being a better, classier university than FSU (did I just damn us with faint praise), but I was sick of losing to those guys.
Yep. His first year record isn't as good as iMac, but this season felt different. SC, fsu games felt good. FF is getting better. Scoring points with abandon. Much better coaches team. Mullen can take hisn and beat yourn and take yourn and beat hisn.
And when Coach stopped the boys from planting the flag on the FSU midfield logo, he taught these young men to be humble in victory.
Dan is the real deal and Gator Greatness is right around the corner. And a major thanks to Scott Stricklin! Love him as our new AD.
Remember how putrid the play calling was the last several years? The medium passing game was nonexistent. Predictable swing passes then a terribly timed bomb when the receiver was usually covered? Continual runs up the middle? Seems like all of that has vanished. Thank you Dan and Stricklin!!

One of my very fave comedians. There would be no Robin Williams w/o Jonathan Winters. Worth the watch to see those two interact.
And a bonus in this is that for Dan Mullen, the Gator gig was his dream job. The others, not so much.
It's been pretty amazing to see the halftime adjustments that Mullen has been able to coach the team up to... AND... Our Gators have a new (or should I say) the old "heart" that's been missing.... and they've been able to perform at the higher standard that IS the Florida Gators! Coach Mullen has already outperformed this season, and I just can't wait for what lies ahead for the Gator Nation! GO GATORS
