Gymnastics: Florida Begins Competition For National Championship #4 -- Gators Advance!

I will be cheering for the Gators hard, especially against the corn dogs.

 

Tough break for the Gator Gals, especially Trinity. They're on a roll...

For sure, looking forward to the competition tomorrow on National TV and cheering for the Good Girls.

Would love to see the Gators be able to compete with Trinity healthy. Winning the national title comes down to tenths of a point here and there and we need all the ladies to be at their very best. Goooooo Gators!!

 

Scary start, with Sloane Blakely falling off the uneven bars in the leadoff spot. But the next 5 performed well enough for the Gators to have the lead after the first rotation. Great to see Trinity out there competing with her wonderful smile. With her, Wong, and DiCello, we have a solid core to rack up some big scores. Just need the supporting cast to step up. Go Gators - Beam is up next.

P.S. - I wish the stats scoreboard would get their names and scores corrected. They've got some misinformation posted right now and it's confusing.

 

Only Blakely and DiCello performed on the beam like we're used to seeing. The beam and uneven bars have been our 2 strongest events all season and we're now in last place going to the floor exercise. Trinity didn't do the beam and I doubt she does the floor. C'Mon Gators - let's do this!!!

 

This is going to be tough. Some of our ladies seem to have let nerves and the pressure of the moment get to them.
